Hi, I'm the one who played Peggle in this! It's specifically a Manual implementation currently, meaning that the client used just has all the checks listed as buttons, rather than modifying the game directly. I made it all myself, but I am aware of some interest within the main server about an actual implementation. I don't personally have any knowledge for modding Peggle to that degree, though I know of someone who has been working on a means of making a basic level randomizer recently.

You are more than welcome to give the Manual a try sometime as well. The Archipelago community has a dedicated server for Manuals, and there's plenty of settings in mine to tinker around with, beyond just completing all of the levels. Full clears, challenges, hitting 5 purple pegs in a level (inspired by the DS version), and even Orangesanity.

If beating the game unlocks all of the checks, then why was Cave Story guy going after Ballos? That is an optional secret boss after you beat the games main final boss. Does the game require True Ending to count?

They are called unsupported games, which are basically games that can be generated into an archipelago multiworld, but aren't added to the official website as supported, due to it not being as thoroughly tested yet, or for some other reason. I would suggest joining the Archipelago server if you would like more information on unsupported games and how to roll unsupported games into multiworlds.

First time I've seen any of these so apologies if it was explained in a different video- how are unlocks handled for games that don't normally have any major gating requirements like Lingo, Stray, Minecraft, and OSU? RCT2 was shown in the video so I assume it's similar with creating lockable requirements other than just beating the game which could normally be done independently?

For Lingo you can shuffle the panel requirements for locked doors (i.e. the "open" panel in front of the red room opens the door in the middle of the hedge maze). You can also set colors to be unlocked by other people, and even make every panel in L1 its own check -- very fun but not recommended unless you really know your way around the map lol. Chris has a bunch of videos where he plays Minecraft AP, but the gist is you unlock items by achievements and important recipes/tool levels are locked away.
