I will be buying this. My dream set up is to have three monitors. 1080p for competitive games, 1440p for general use, 4k for video content. When I will get them all working together, over time I will decide that maybe I need to standardize 1440p to just HDR 4k monitor. As for now, I have 1440p Samsung G7. I will be getting this, because it is the best for what it is built for and I will use it exclusively to play FPS and when I do not, it will be a secondary screen to display random information while I'm gaming or something.

I have the 240hz 2546K.. paid 500$ some time ago, some of my friends have IPS 360hz and 240hz and they still feel mine is smoother... zowie benqs are the kings for compt gaming!

What about 2k oled lg/asus vs benq 240/360 dyac? On benq i feel like i need 2 k and a bit bigger screen to see betetr on long range and shoto in pixels, with smooth and colours all pretty good but i never tried 2k and oled before

For graphic design, you'd want a 10 bit panel because of Adobe RGB coverage. I'd go for a Pro Art or BenQ PD series monitor instead.

This is a specialized gaming monitor. You do not mix that with a professional image work. Completely different requirements. Better save up for two monitor set up.

Higher refresh rate is just a gimmick. A super fast panel does not mean superior performance. Things like ghosting, response time, overshoot comes into play. With those super-high refresh rate monitors you often experience more issues with it.

Good choice. I would also prefer a 27" screen for AAA titles. However, for FPS titles, competitively, this is superior for sure. It's just that, I'm probably too noob to benefit for that tiny gap between the two. XD

96% sRGB, lmao... it's 2023, and you're playing on a monitor that can't even reach 100% of STANDARD RGB. xD Tell you what though, instead of bying an overpriced TN monitor with 360 hz, it's better to just wait and boy one of the 240hz OLED panels thata re coming out soon, the one from LG, i believe, is already released, actually... I'm waiting for the one from Asus, it's got better cooling. Color presentation is a performance factor, more important than an extra 120 hz over a 240 hz monitor... at 240hz, more refresh rate is going to have LESS impact on your gaming performance, than your ability to be able to tell if there's a C4 explosive on the wall or not, that's where color presentation comes in. My standards are MINIMUM 100% sRGB, 240hz or more, minimum pixel density of 24.5inches 1080p... I don't even consider anything outside of these specs to be a valid option for gaming. As far as i'm concerned, this 360hz TN panel, is for office-work, you know, word, excel, etc, that kind of office work, 'cus it's nto suited for color-critical work, which gaming also is, btw... So it's only suited for office-work, at which point, there are cheaper alternatives available.

I personally care a lot about colour accuracy because I'm a creative professional who deals with work like color grading. After testing more than 100 monitors so far, I hate to burst your bubble but a lot of manufacturers that advertise 100% sRGB coverage are not being truthful at all. Also, after speaking with a lot of pro players for FPS titles, the general consensus is that they care more about motion blur than colour accuracy. In fact, they would often crank up the saturation/vibrance settings on monitors to help distinguish objects/enemies from backgrounds. And the truth is, it doesn't matter if something is the right shade of green or orange as long as you can tell it apart from the wall or the ground. ZOWIE is a super niched brand. While they definitely do sponsorship with certain players, other brands like Asus or Alienware would have 100x the marketing funds to make pro players use their gear. If ZOWIE's "overpriced TN panels" are not superior, why would the pros still stick with them? Don't just listen to me, do check out prosettings.com

Color ACCURACY is a different deal, but if it's advertised to have 100% sRGB coverage, then it has 100% sRGB coverage... All that it means is that it has the POTENTIAL to be color-accurate, doesn't mean it IS color accurate. The percentage of color coverage is about the monitors performance capacity/potential. If the monitor has less than 100% sRGB that means that there are some colors in the standard RGB color-space that the monitor is INHERENTLY INCAPABLE of displaying, no matter how much you tune it. That's what those numbers mean. :P So, how do you remedy this? Well, you find a monitor that has 100% sRGB coverage, that also comes with a calibration certificate (proof of accuracy), that way you can judge for yourself whether the monitor is accurate enough for you. "If ZOWIE's "overpriced TN panels" are not superior, why would the pros still stick with them?" Because they either have ADD and allow themselves to be distracted by shallow variables like pixel response time as if it's the only thing that matters, or they're color-blind and wouldn't benefit from better color accuracy anyway. I can easily see how a pro would complain he couldn't see the C4 on the wall because of motion blur, when the real reason he didn't see it was because the monitor made the C4 have the same color as the wall it was attached too... A motion blur streak in different color would've revealed it to him, but no, he's got ADD, he doesn't pay attention to the finer details, so he's just gonna blame pixel response time. And sure, increasing the digital saturation could possibly help the monitor make those important color distinctions, at the cost of making the game look like total sht, of course... But at this point, you might as well just enable color-blind mode and customize the colors, you'll get even better distinction, and the game will look just as crappy. You can probably do MANY things to FORCE distinction between objects, like even mod the game with a reskin of said objects. Nah bro, these are FUNCTIONAL solutions sure, but they're not valid solutions, if it comes at the price of immersion, then you're not gaming... You're working, you're just doing a job, because you don't care about the game, or the experience, you only care about results. "Don't just listen to me, do check out" Lmao, CS:GO pros playing 4:3. xD Tempted to just give them a CRT monitor. :P
