We have been running these for a few years now on an 893. the stalk breakdown from fall to spring is phenomenal..that being said, do not expect to follow the combine with the chisel plow like other farmers can with a lawnmower style chopping head as these are very good but not perfect at the 7” sheer point. Depending on the stalk conditions a lot of times there is still that last little strand left at each cutoff point still holding the stalk together so we will usually need something pretty aggressive with disks on the front to evenly mix residue without bunching but by spring it is broke down enough where it isn’t an issue and will not hang up on your spring tillage tool. But other than that I’m very satisfied overall
