Absolutely beautiful. I’ve decorated like crazy and came up with so many new ideas for 30 plus yrs. For some reason I never thought to add decoration to the bottom of a candle if it’s already in a candle holder. Thank you Granny Pat.

Just beautiful.....and magical! Love it all, Carol Ann from Tennessee❤ I just found 2 of those Fostoria double candle holders at a local antique store. I told the owner about learning about them on your page here. .She sold me both for the price of one! I am slowly adding pieces to my collection. I found the candy dish with lid at another store! Well Granny Pat, you outdid yourself. That is the most beautiful and elegant table I have ever seen. There are just not enough words to describe this masterpiece. The Swan has the most stately manner and exquisite brilliance that you carried through with each piece on your table. I admired each item. Granny Pat, your talent and gift on how you put things together is amazing. The tablecloth sets it off. The iced tea spoons in the bud vase is so clever. Your other decorations were all so pretty. @@NancyHudson-m9l Each person sees my creations in a different light. That is good I suppose! Every opinion is helpful, shows the diversity in good to bad taste. Where one person sees an elegant display, another sees it as next to gaudy. Right, on both counts. As we all know, Christmas is a time for diverse opinions. We can overdo a decoration and to many, make it beautiful. That is the pleasure of the holiday. What is that expression ‘if you’ve got it, flaunt it.’ That pretty much describes my swan tablescape. Anything goes!

She would never have given me a gift as beautiful as or expensive as this breathtaking swan!!!!! You have your home decorated so beautifully. I so wish you had more room to keep more of your keepsakes and collections around you. I can vividly imagine you living in a Victorian cottage or small gingerbread-trimmed home with every room filled with beautiful treasures!!!!! Absolutely breath taking! The swan is stunning! The chair your uncle brought to your mother I have a twin! Found at an antique store over 30 years ago. It’s my desk chair; identical! My grandmother was English and you always ate off her China and she had iced tea/water glasses just like the one you showed we usually drink iced tea in them. I don’t know if my aunt took them when they cleaned the house. My dad wasn’t a saver or sentimentalist. My mother was she took quite a bit of my grandmother‘s things and thank goodness because I have most of them. They’re just pieces, but I never got the iced tea glasses just like yours when you sat at her table even to eat a sandwich. Everything was served in China never a paper plate! Table display is outstanding ! A gift you have sent to all of us that enjoy .🤗 Nancy, Valpo, IN.

I never miss a video, of course, and here's why the tablescapes are my favorites. Granny Pat, you mentioned in your video a day or so ago that lots of people ask for them. I think there's too big reasons---you talk about doing things with what you have and I think appeals to people. But it's also because I and everyone I think appreciate seeing your creativity. I was totally surprised by that big swan for Christmas and it's perfect! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. It's always a surprise and it's always fun.
