I live in Bangor Co.Down and we’d a red warning for wind today. All told to stay at home. Wind started getting bat at 4 am and didn’t ease til about 4pm. We lost a lot of tiles of our roof so we need a roofer to repair it. Lots of trees down and roof of places completely off. Take care and stay safe.

Just been listening to you Sheila ,then I thought oh dear I'm not getting any of my knitting done. I knit and crochet for charity. Been knitting since about 5yr old I'm now 77 so many years . Thought when you said about the wind in back garden very funny, but as long as you are ok Regards Sheila

Hello Sheila, oh dear, be careful with that wind! 🌬 That's ok you talk to yourself. Or talk to Sammy unless he talks back---then we'll worry. 🤣 Remember to bring the child's scarf---along with the hat---to try on your grandchildren too. How is your pink cable sweater coming along? Take care 🇺🇲❤🇬🇧

I am new to your channel.I live in Somerset with my husband, daughter and grandaughter, she's 5, so keeps us amused with the things she says. She loves colouring, which is what she's doing while I type this. I know what you mean about talking to yourself. We don't have any pets, we had cats, one at a time when the 3 girls were growing up. We gad a rescue dog for a few years. They are good company, would you ever have another? You are a hood knitter.

Yup ! Your sweater is a lovely shade of plum ! Accurate color. Sure you’ll sort things out . I see your wrist wrapped . 😞take care of that . At least you won something - good towards the gas( petrol) you spend to travel there. Oh my goodness! Poor postman . Once a strong gust blew my daughter( a child at the time) right off the porch ! Last week it was very windy and it caused me to sway ! Got nervous and went into house . Poor Sheila . Glad you weren’t hurt! I talk to myself all the time ( and even answer!) . I’m on my own too ! Funny . ❤ xx

Hi Sheila. I’m glad you decided not to walk to the Post Office. In the US the weather folks are talking about the severe winds in the UK. Hope you stay safe and well

If you try the magic loop method, can you show us how you've done it, please? Thank you, Sheila 😊

I’m not surprised you’re having pain in your hand. I have a problem called De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis, it affects the tendons that control thumb movement . It prevents me doing too much. I’ve had shots in my thumb on two occasions, not something I look forward to. It helps , however, I do limit my crochet and knitting even though I love it.

Glad you are going to try magic loop it honestly is easy, has to be if i do it, just rember no need to purl, better than dpns as stitches dont fall off. Laughed about you in the wind as happened to me and as a bit of a scrawny female i too had to use the fence but my fence was barbed wire, had darning to do after that.
