I observe a cycle of anxiety with Mijas around other horses leaving her field and consider how I will use dominance with a horse-centred purpose to promote safety around the gate in the field, and start working on approach and retreat in our own work together, to facilitate opportunities for Mijas and I to watch the scary movie of being far away from other horses and start feeling better about it.
