Excellent ride video and I in fact enjoyed the long form vlog. Nice that it tells a story and has some exploring as it makes it much more interesting than “just” a unicycle ride. Also so good you didn’t use any background music. Phew. I long for the scope to ride longer trips on my 36er. Based in Bath UK but at present with a 1+ year old and us both working across 7 days a week it’s unlikely. But do catch the odd ride here and there with urban arrow cargo bike in tow! That route was delicious as was that Vee Rubber tyre. Cheers for making me more impatient to get out there.

Thank you for your feedback 😊 Yes I too have struggled with fitting rides around work & family life, I used to ride sometimes at 10 o'clock at night after everyone went to bed 😐 not something anyone can do & took massive amounts of motivation but for me it worked & got the job done. Thankfully they are more independent now, keep spinning & fitting it in where you can! Merry Christmas & thanks again for watching 👍

@@leejones2511 I've already found out later in the video. flat, rideable offroad tracks and no snow in sight - paradise for a 36er 💕

Recommendation for a beginner unicycle? Want to give it a go 👍
@leejones2511 Жыл бұрын
If you are asking for recommendations? Then yes start on a 20"-24" get into a tennis court & practice as much as you can, & never give up, it can be hard to learn the basics & just stick to the basics for now, IE learn to ride & stop & then to mount it, ( freemount) Then keep practicing until you ride it like you own it 👍

Great info on crank sizes. I'm still on 150s but only been riding since Jan 2021. 36 miles looked 'fairly' comfortable? How long have you been riding? I need to do 30/40 miles a day to complete my 500 mile trip in time allocated?
@leejones25113 жыл бұрын
Hi Bruce, stick with your 150's for a while & use those until you are super comfortable mounting & riding, I've been riding for about 5 years now, 30-40 miles a day is very achievable, as long as you do the time beforehand, il be doing some videos soon on training motivation & saddle comfort very soon. my advice for now is ride ride ride weekly saddle time is going to be your main friend set yourself a weekly milage goal say 25 miles or so & ride it in a 8mile blocks to start & build from there👍
