Can Idris do an episode on how he would go about planning his 2025. Been loving these podcasts episodes and I look forward to learning more from this intelligent man.

I personally think, many are aware of the risks especially when investing in start ups but one must make sure it is a pure business problems and not wrongly used for personal or other unrelated purposes

It would be great to have some animation or wordings to summarise step 1-7 or any points discussed for those who may just want a quick view or want a summary after listening.

Thank you for the suggestion. Definitely something we want to grow into eventually. For now, since I do the filming, editing and social media on my own on top of my other 2 day jobs, not quite at the level of resource (or skill) to be able to do this. One day! 💪💪

Good Aftn DS Idris & Leon. I am in sync with your ideas & views put forth in this EP38. Risk Management covers a wide range of disciplines and thats the reason there is NO ONE -SIZE-FITS ALL Solution. In short its another Strategy of " Contingency Planning." Every Organization is different & unique in its own way and will encounter different kinds of Risks. The Parameters outlined in this Episode covers the broad framework to implement successfully the concept and types of Risks as well as the Processes involved. From my Experience & Observation, by taking a Proactive Approach rather than a Reactive Strategy coupled with continuous training the Employees, an Organization can reduce the chances of something going wrong & minimise damage. One of the new areas being explored through Risk Management is the use of Artificial Intelligence [ AI] & also initiatives in ESG Programs- Environmental, Social & Governance. Tough to make predictions especially about the future as the Adage goes: Tools for Measuring & Mitigating Risks are getting more sophisticated to detect trending and emerging Risks. A fruitful knowledge sharing session. Tq.

In malaysia and elsewhere, risk management should also cover the real investors, not just managers. I mean, sapura was bailed out twice, one in 1996 in the adam phone business and now pnb bail the group and took ownership of the loans!

My ex neoghbor was ilyas kadir.he was a harvard mba and gave me lots of case studies and some even signed by porter n tom peters. He turned around kontena nasional and said the best way to get the managers to cooperate is to let them give suggestions which you guide them to..and they will feel proud that it was their idea
