37. Create Managed and Unmanaged Tables

@CloudAndDataUniverse Good explanation on every aspect of Databricks managed and unmanaged table. With regards to the implementation that you have shown on how to create an external table that is based on Scala language. Is it also possible on how to create an external table basis PySpark? I tried using the same option in a cell configured for PySpark, however the option of mentioning path for the external table is not available in PySpark. Could you suggest how to do that please. Appreciate it. Thanks,

You need to switch the notebook to python or an individual cell to python using %python. The code for pyspark is slightly different

@@cloudanddatauniverse Yes. As I mentioned I tried doing it with PySpark (configuring the cell for %python), but was not able to achieve the same.
