@@thomasblesinger9374 Has been a weird time in Australia, but we are very lucky, we have very few deaths which is fortunate and it seems to be mostly under control currently. Hope you are safe and it will be great when we can all travel again, hopefully soon :)

My favourite part of the world, also originally from Aus. Love sailing. The wife does not, she likes TV so this we will never do. Was in Paros and Antiparos last September, insane wind. Nice boat you have. Hope Covid is not going to spoil the coming sailing season.

Hi Stephan, thanks for watching and great to hear from you! Was this when the Medicane ripped through? I love Paros, beautiful place! Unfortunately we are still back in Oz waiting for the vaccine before continuing the journey so I think this season will be missed. We are really lucky however and just using the time to work before heading back over :)

@@SailingKawai I think it was the Medicane, we left early to go back to Athens just in case we missed our flight back to UK but the trajectory of the storm changed and I think it headed south before hitting the Cyclades. Where is your boat now? Hopefully you can use it this year. Im still mooting getting a small yacht in Greece .I think there will be a lot for sale this year.

Wonderful video!! this was a nice distraction from our current situation. We have been stuck in the boatyard during this wild month and are so close to our splash date we are worried the yard wont be back to work to splash us!!! Sailing Kawai we are self isolating at home near Oxford in North Canterbury, South Island NZ. Very fortunate that we have a 12 acre life style block so don’t feel as if we are in lock down, although have not been out side the gate now for two weeks since level 4 Was imposed. My wife and I are in our 70s so are in the vulnerable group so not risking any movement outside of our property. As for future sailing, that will depend on the world situation and especially the Mediterranean area, which I see has been hit hard tourism wise. But never say never, I have several groups still keen to tick off the Greek Islands on their bucket list, so let’s see what happens. Still loving your videos. We're letting you show us the way as we follow your footsteps down from Croatia. Can't wait to get to Milos. But it won't be this season. We're hoping to get out to Preveza to dust off our boat hopefully in June....... But the weather looks nice later on, so perhaps we'll stay in Greece through October, before heading back for the UK Autumnal weather.

Nice video. Vathy means deep. In the case of coves and anchorages it mostly refers to their horizontal rather than the vertical dimension. Deep inlands not necessarily deep water. It is a pity you did not have the opportunity to explore Sifnos more. It is a relatively undiscovered gem of a small island with beautiful architecture and the best food in the Cyclades.

Hey Peter, how are you? We are doing well, back in Australia, both working full time which is great considering the times. Kawai is on the hard in Turkey :). How are you going in these weird times? We have been a little slack on the video front since we returned home, spent a heap of time with friends and family over the Christmas period which was nice.
