Tip for anyone using the dark oak slab farmland trick: if you are planting wheat, I like to put in yellow coral (I forgot which type, as long as it’s not the block) on top so that people above don’t just see random black holes in your farm.

I have an idea: If you're using ladders on blocks, You're doing it wrong. Instead, use a piston. With the help of the Debug Stick, you can make your ladders look like they're hanging down when you put extended to "true".

For hack 17, instead of using end stone as the portal frame block, use a sculk catalyst block as it is the closest looking block to the end portal frame block which is obtainable in vanilla survival.

I don't think Skip has covered this build hack yet but, if you look closely at jungle leaves you can see some fruits so next time you're making a small tree mix jungle leaves with oak and say: 'that's just a lime tree'

@@sungpepper2 sadly it doesn't, since for some stupid reason you can't place the item frame on the glass and the chest all at the same time in bedrock, so you guys are gonna be stuck with a fish tank, luckily there's some good videos about how to make some real nice ones.

If you put four pistons in a square and in the ground (one block down) then slap some redstone blocks right below the pistons you will get a table and legs! No commands at all. You can also use deactive pistols and use them as the floor for your house and it gives off a more attractive look (too my friends and I apparently) then just regular planks

you can also make a vineyard by placing vines over silk touched ore blocks with fences at each end and over to the top to hold the "vines" up. very pretty especially with diamond and ruby ore blocks.

oh my god, thank you SO much. I'm doing the one chest survival map right now, and there's like ZERO mobs spawning... But the chest gave me the fish and the items needed to make that little fish bowl! I tend to make my tables with a barrel or two in the middle covered by a trap door, then upside down stairs around it (usually the same/similar texture) and slabs or stairs as seats with backs of doors or trapdoors. Picture frames as plates and I put drinks and food in the barrels for easy access.

If you want to put a lava pool that looks nice make the floor out of Blackstone, and surround the pool itself with gilded Blackstone. It make it look like the lava is soaking into the floor
