for anyone wondering, the first two things he shows are made using minecraft built in shaders, which is a part of a resource pack. A program called objMC can port obj files into minecraft shader files, and because these shaders use vectors to display stuff in the world, the models dont have to square, unlike if you would use CustomModelData.

The spheres and stuff were recorded in Bedrock Edition using custom entities converted using "bridge. v1.8.4", objmc is what I used for the portals in Java Edition! Both really powerful tools.

Just asking, I didn't see anywhere on the internet a tutorial on how to make a custom VR room or even a straight up pack that changes it. How do you make one?

There’s a tutorial and template over on wiki.bedrock.dev The living room texture is rendered unlit in-game, so you need to bake the lighting of your model to a texture. I used Blender to make the model and create the texture. Not easy but you get awesome results!
