Julie, thank you so much for the time you take to explain your techniques. I have taken so many notes from your videos. I have been studying so many pouring artists, but I come back to your videos to learn how to mix the paints because you explain it so clearly. I use to do art 15-20 years ago, but life got so busy I quit. I came across these techniques by accident and have been enjoying your sense of humor, your doggies and wild birds. I live in a small home with my 95 year old mother and there is no where I can do my art. So since my son-in-law builds storage houses he is building me a she shack. It’s going to be 10x14 so I will have a place to do my art. I am so excited. In the mean time, I am studying many artists doing this pouring art. I consider you my number one mentor. I am so great full I happened across one of your videos. Can’t wait till I can start these techniques. In the mean time I will continue studying and watching the wonderful artists on Utube. God Bless you. From Avis in Mobile, Alabama, USA

Striking! It reminds me of a winter storm over the ocean, or massive icebergs. I see no trace of copper, and barely any green has decided come to the party. So interesting! I always wonder where colors have gone when this happens in my pours!

Thank you so much for sharing and analyzing and the instructions, I enjoy it a lot. I’ve been pouring just over four months now and am still perfecting some techniques. My string pulls with cotton crochet thread are what I seem to be able to pull off the best..lol but recently I’ve done a few good balloon techniques. The hardest for me to accomplish has been the “swipe”. Even with watching a lot of your videos, and I just have to laugh at myself about it. I’ll keep trying, but this video has me wanting to try the “cloud effect” .. thanks again, sorry for the long post.

Gorgeous. Blue is my favorite color & this is incredible! The thing I like about pouring is the different things people see in it. You said about the clouds & icebergs. At some points, I thought it looked like it was in the water, looking down as a scuba diver's bubbles were coming up.

Thank you for another inspiring video! As a newbie, I would like to ask two questions to be sure I understand, please. 1) You referred to a previous video on how you prepared your paints. Which video number is that? (p.s. it's brilliant that you number your videos, so helpful!) and 2) A little confused about when you added the white paint - maybe your video explains this. I think per this video you mean that you added to the layered mixture of color paints in your measuring cup - not individually, offscreen as well? Sorry for dumb questions, but really want to learn and have limited materials! :) Cheers!
