Pranams to you Brother Sanjay🙏🙏❤👍👍🥰Thank you again and again for this beautiful message, which resonates very much with me! Everything you say is so true...about this whole experience! For me I was involved in action....doing good, giving charity, pleasing people, going to temple in satsang etc...but I always feel that there is something more satisfying to this life!! Then seeking in quietness and meditation I found THIS 🙏❤Its beyond words!! Alot of people would definitely misunderstand what you are saying about "Non action" With Action and being a very good human being comes in the beginning stages of This Self searching! But most people gets stock there with the EGO! I thank Bhagavan for this beautiful and divine knowledge and for giving me this opportunity to listen to your videos ! We are all so fortunate and blessed in this time of our lives! Blessings 🙌🙌🙏🙏❤❤😇😇

Hi didn't get it at all! Who do you think is acting when "one" acts on ego? Say I'm acting on ego and I'm proud of helping "others" so the question is; who is in delusion thinking that helping others? Same essence with the guy who thinks he is egolessly helping others! If I go and try to find the work or sit here and wait to work come to me, who is going out and who is waiting! Thinking that you can be or do anything with ego is the real illusion! Ego itself is the brahman as well! There is no one to be act on ego! There is no one but brahman! So telling "others" not to be egoic is an illusion too. How can be someone decides and be egoic by himself if there is only ONE/BRAHMAN? Namaste🙏❤😍🙏

I used to live in a village. After my matriculation, I went to pursue my higher studies in a near city. During my intermediate, I was at top amongst all. Unfortunately, I had to leave the city and came to live in village again. I found out I had something to share to my friends and foes that they weren't aware of, mostly because of lack of exposure in rural areas. It didn't go well. It backfired to me. I knew they were envious at some point but after sometime it became hatred. Then I realised my mistake and got myself out of it. Lesson I learned is "Help those who ask for it otherwise it will be a self disaster".

Being here has raised the question of helping as there is so much poverty. But I heard inner whispers to let thing be as they are, and this Satsang has profoundly embedded that truth for me. What a saving grace that is. May my inner peace continue to grow as that is really all I have to give. Thank you from the depths of my heart.

yeah I had some of that trying to earn my selfworth through helping others. But still, if you love others or have compassion the wish of them comming out of suffering will be there I feel. It was fuel for a lot off sadness, annoyance and even resentment bc I was waiting on them lol. I feel like abandonning them in some sort of way and my loyalty has been too much with others instead of what my own heart desires (freedom). How are these dissociated indifferent people who enjoy darkness ever gonne turn around, it has me worried as they seem unreachable and every time they are confronted they go deeper into denial. I know I need more trust in the divine to reach everyone and its not my job but somehow I feel sad letting all that go and every heart feels like I share it with them. I am turning away from imbalanced situation and steer away from helping others when they arnt clearly asking but still some annoyance and sadness. To admit I even look down on people who continually lack courage and strength but the seperate I is helpless doing anything about it. All there is to do is to surrender

🙏 Thank you. Just this morning the ego started with the idea of a yoga center. I saw it forming and knew it was to "create action". Distract from the peace that is growing day by day. Many years ago, I hear MOOJI and Eckhart Tolle speak about sitting on benches in London. Then it happened to me. I sat on benches in London until March 2022. 3 months later I was offered an air ticket to Africa, to a farm. I have been sitting on a chair for the last two 2 months. Birds, trees and dogs, and sunrises and sunsets. Actions come, actions go. I am asked to do a task and it happens, then falls away. The idea of a yoga center was clearly ego. The ego is trying to create a "plan of action" but it was thwarted. Thank you for this beautiful description of how the doer is all there is. No doing is necessary outside or what rises and falls. Paramahansa Yogananda said "walking, eating, sleeping, whisper God God God, and you Will surely know Him." Even mantras have become a task and many times my mind just feels the words instead of saying them. God God God is so pure. Yogananda said when we know we are a drop in the ocean and the ocean at the same time, then we are liberated. 30 years later his words are finally started to sink in. Non duality is becoming less of a theory and more of a realisation. The paradox is talking about it. This I find harder and harder. The theory was easy to talk about. The realisation is the nectar that can't be described. I am guessing one day I just won't talk about it at all. Thank you. This talk was exactly what was needed this evening as a reminder.

Yogi From Brooklyn New York There is something called 'Svadharma" in the Vyavaharika realm (worldly realm) where dharma and adharma indulge in a perpetual tug of war. Ramanaa Maharishi was a Sanyasi. So, he advocated only Jnana yoga which focuses on fasting of manas, bliss and paramathika realm (transcendental realm). But there is also Karma yoga pathway (which does not require the pre-condition to experience bliss). Knowledge of Jnana yoga based on Sankhya Vedic metaphysics is enough. Non dual (Shiva) is INCOMPLETE without duality capable (Shakthi). It also means Advaitha is INCOMPLETE without Dvaitha. Point is people may practice Jnana yoga (like Ramana Maharishi, gurus and sanyasis who focus on paramarthika realm) and Karma yoga (like Arjuna and others who focus on Vyavakarika realm) separately but combining Jnana and Karma yoga gives the ultimate "Jivan Mukth" experience (like Avatars). Only avatars or non karmic births or incarnations can practice them in perfect sync. Even siddhis (who are karmic births) who play tricks cannot achieve the perfect sync of Jnana and Karma like Avatars.

there are some exceptions though. If i see someone homeless and begging, especially a woman..I will stop and talk to her. A smile is very important to those who are lost, no getting around that. Gentleness and tact is required to see if there is in fact some information on HOUSING that they don't know about. Some people don't realise they need an *advocate* to get them into housing. Some have lost the feeling that anyone cares, or that they are worthy of asking for an advocate. Or even where to go to start looking for one, so they can find shelter. In winter, i don't care what Ram Das may say - people need protection from the weather and from predators.

I have also been observing me at the same time and was not sure if this need for sharing I feel is necessary when I notice someone close to me find it meaningful but not interested to listen when I share without feeling compulsion to listen. That was all clear to me as doer and observer. I also had an understanding that me being in my own flow may have a natural consequence outside of me than by actually sharing the little knowledge out of some internal need and compulsion but was difficult to make that shift in fact. This video certainly helps me start slowing down and shifting towards that stillness. Thank you!!!!

This is true. I tried to gather some friends and a relative to teach remote viewing to. I created teaching videos and sent it to these "students." The whole thing spiraled into a cacophony of misinterpretations. Most were only interested in "winning the lottery" and no one bothered to practice. None of these "students" who all expressed great enthusiasm ever watched any of the videos that took me at least a month to create. One guy eventually reluctantly watched one video after 6 months and with the same reluctance admitted the video was well made and he understood everything in it yet - no one tried to practice! I was quite perplexed actually. One lady, a fellow doctor I had worked with while I was in the US, bothered me almost every day for two weeks with " when are you going to send it?"- messages- eventually said she can only watch on the weekends but that on the weekends she was too tired and would rather catch up on sleep! I abandoned it all with just about the same conclusions presented here, It was a huge revelation and learning experience and very agitating to my mental sense of tranquility. I wish I never opened my mouth. Now I'm perfectly silent about it all

I love it. Each person knows deep down if their thoughts, intentions or actions come from ego or from a place of unconditional love. :) Sometimes help can cause more harm than good. All we have or we think we know about another person is perception. And perception is limited and often distorted. We really don't know what is inside another person's heart or what their needs truly are (until perhaps they open and tell us directly). We can only share our experience (if we choose to). From a place of no expectation. And respect that everyone has their own story, their own reasons for living life the way they do and for making their own choices. We all are where we are because we have been where we have been...

@BEEaTREE2 жыл бұрын
@@sureshnarayanan84 By focusing on YOUR (inner) life more. Often people will put a lot of effort into changing the external "misery" because they haven't created space to look into the internal one. Once there is peace, unconditional love, lack of judgment, lack of expectation, lack of control inside your landscape, that is also projected on the outside. We are NOTHING but a projection of what we are inside. This may sound selfish, but it's not meant in an arrogant way: we can ONLY change ourselves. We're not here to change others. If we can LOVE others, that helps. The only thing that ever helps... ♥️ You can make a difference in peoples' lives around you every minute of every day... but that shouldn't come with any expectation of changing them... people only change when and if they are ready...on their own...and perhaps with love...

Perhaps there is nothing to get rid of. And everything to embrace... change/evolution happens even despite ourselves... our agency may help (but it may also hinder by taking the agency from the person himself/herself for instance...) If I have a bucket with precious liquid in it that's leaking out because the bucket has a hole in it, does it help to pour the liquid out into another bucket with a hole in it? This is how I feel when I hear people say that life is about serving others.
@AaaronRCorrea2 жыл бұрын
I had never seen it that way. And you're right, no matter how hard they try to instill guilt in you.
@user-nj5jh6xe7q2 жыл бұрын
To hold anything precious, or give any value or meaning, instantly creates the opposite state. By holding this liquid (one's life value or the act of giving compassion) as precious, one simultaneously creates the state of emptiness without it. Even this precious liquid (life or human virtue) has a source. The same source as that which is perceiving and placing value on "things". If the source of a "thing" (a precious liquid, the life of a body, the self, or one's virtue) appears to be another "thing" then it will be exhaustible and finite. "Things" only appear precious or exhaustible if perceived apart from their source.
@michaeldevlin6147 Жыл бұрын
Life is about serving others but without otherness. Not helping 'others' but only keeping 'precious liquid to yourself' is just selfishness. By all means help others, but realise that they are no different from yourself. Your understanding is totally removed from the teaching and it's often used as an excuse used to justify one's own selfish actions while still being deeply rooted in ego.

The one thought 💭 I have always struggled with that strongly pulls me back into the mind is the thought of how I can help others wake up. What things I can say to my best friend so that he can end his own mental sufferings blah blah blah. This talk has been extremely helpful. Thank you.

The Lord said "Those who see action in inaction and inaction in action are truly wise amongst humans. Although performing all kinds of actions, they are yogis and masters of all their actions."

It's good to help others as long as you have a strong conviction that the world and it contents comes from your true self.... There are no others except you!... give help when needed with detachment.

Pranam dr.sanjay ! Thanx fr all wonderful insights .bhagwad geeta also says .gyani knows action in inaction n inaction in action one insight which always helped me in distinguishing mind from awareness is in conditions in which brain is partially damaged like in hydroceplalus ,brain functions may b less bt watever funcion it does,the awareness in that function is complete so awareness is complete,unaffected.

Beautiful to hear. I read as many below have been trying to interpret what 'don't look to help others' means. When we offer a bowl of water or food to the needy, are we not helping others to quench their thirst or fill their belly, even temporarily? Offering advice is a clear notion of help, whether we offer if someone is seeking or not - what I gather, offer it without any ego attached to it. Give, but don't expect anything in return.

Yep! Try and convince a single mother of 3 with long covid, that the awareness of her experience is ego based!! And that being sedentary is the solution! Bless you all! There are many many other ways to find peace and love. xx

The Bible too has many stories of doership. Too many. The Churches need to create actions to keep people involved and "doing things". THANKFULLY we have Bhagavan and Sanjay, and his helpers to dissolve the idiocies with which we have been indoctrinated. Thank you YOU TUBE and technology also (this is a rare occasion where I have been grateful to technology for which I mostly feel like a rat in an experiment!)

It seems the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi reflect the same as the Tao Te Ching, in regard of letting what happens happen.
