💥🎶🔥🎸 WooHoo .38 Special!! This was on my list, for you to react to!! This song evokes many happy memories as a youngster, back in the '80's. Carefree days, hanging with friends. I love their Southern Rock roots mixed with a more melodic sound.. They have said that this came from listening to The Cars, "Just What I Needed." That was the impetus to set them apart from other bands, at the time. Another great song, by 38 Special is "Hang on Loosely. Terrific reaction Hap, made me smile🥰. Awesome selection Sumer!! Another band I grew up on! .38 Special has so many great songs! I saw them in concert in 2019, and they still sound good. "Hold On Loosely", "Rockin' Into the Night", Teacher, Teacher", and "Somebody Like You", are some of their hits.

Yep..the southern rock guitar armies! Two drummers like another great southern rock band The Outlaws...their live version of Green Grass and High Tides is a twenty minute guitar assault!

Oh, that was a nice little tune. I've never heard of this band either. But this is proof that it doesn't take a lot of hype, just pure talented musicians who obviously had fun playing their instruments, meaningful lyrics that many can relate to, and delivered easily and light-heartedly, that's what makes a great one Song off - loved it. 38 Special is an American Southern rock band. The singer, Donnie Van Zant, is the little brother of Ronnie Van Zant, the lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and after a plane crash that killed him and a couple other members of the band, their youngest brother Johnny Van Zant took over as lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd. "Hold On Loosely" is another good song that 38 Special had.
