She's beautiful 😍 She's a copy of a Masterpiece doll. As you said doesn't have any brand or certificate of authenticity. Masterpieces doll are not made anymore except for the ones that Asthon Drakes have on their site. I have a original masterpiece doll and believe me doesn't make any easier do move her legs and arms easily 😂but I love her. Have fun with your new dolly girl. It's definitely so much fun to dress them and style her hair.

It surprised me how fun these big dolls are! At first it thought I wouldn’t like them as much as the cuddly babies…….but I think I like them even MORE! Of course I love all of my dolls……but these bigger ones are a whole different kind of fun. For one thing, the clothes are more fun to buy since there are more options. And I know this sounds weird, but their personalities “develop” over time……we decide what they are into and their favorite colors etc.

Years ago masterpiece dolls released 350 of each sculpt. They were owned by blackall industries. About 5 years ago they closed there buisness. There sculptors were German artists Monika Peter leight. And Monika levenig . they all were signed and numbered on doll and coa . they had doll bodies manufactured in China. After they closed buisness China used molds to make these copies. A authentic masterpiece doll sold for 350. Now there even higher as harder to find . then Ashton drake had sculptors create 4 more dolls for them . I have over 35 authentic MP dolls in my nursery and playlist if you would like see them. But these are a way to still get similar dolls to enjoy that are like MP dolls.

Yay! You're back. I missed you and your mom. Love the new doll even though I've never been a fan of tall dolls since childhood. My younger cousin had one and I was terrified of her. LOL! This doll is so pretty though. I've watched several videos on these Amazon dolls and am impressed. Have you ever heard of the company Adolly? They sell reborn baby dolls and are supposed to be really nice. Their price range is the same as Paradise Galleries. Anyhow, love your new doll and her outfit. So cute!

Ive got this doll to but mine has brown eyes not blue. My bigger one by the real Master piece company i had paid a freaking fortune for her i think four thousand dollars for her or underneath that. Hi there, Ladies! i recognized that doll from Amazon as i have her sitting in my wish list...that and the boy that might be around the same height. There are so many Chinese shops that have flooded Amazon that it's ridiculous! Same doll, same outfits, and pretty much the same price. i see it has happened to Etsy, too. i read all the reviews mainly to learn about the hair so i have read about the cheaper wig problems. How do you think the arms and legs are attached with all those pieces? One large rubber band or something similar? i just hope my AD dolls don't come apart at some point as i have the same two that you ladies have. For this Amazon doll, how old does she seem to you? i will say she's gorgeous and i do love her outfit! What size clothes did 'Mom' change her into? What a cute outfit that is!!! And yes, Ohio sure has become cold! 30 degrees here yesterday morning in Central OH so i'm glad my son thought to detach my hose! It was wonderful to see your beautiful Mother! You two look alike! Lol! She is indeed a trip! And I love her incredibly! I have no idea how the limbs and joints are attached…..you’re probably right…..one long band. I suppose if they ever come apart we will have to research how to fix them. But let’s hope that never happens! My mom has decided to order her another wig at some point. It’s not a horrible wig…..but we’ve seen better. And Chi-NA is taking over that’s for sure! Ok…..clothes…..she has put her in 3T pants……but we both agree she could do 4T since the 3Ts are a tad short….but of course it depends on the maker of the clothes. She has a 3T shirt, but the vest (surprisingly) is 24 months. That’s really a vest meant for her other, smaller toddler doll from AD. The shoes are a size 8. And to us……we e discussed it……we think she’s about 4 years old. One day my mom MAY buy the 48” doll on Amazon. The one with the flower dress and long blonde hair that seems a tad darker than this dolls hair. Thanks for the sweet comment and u take care!

On the clothes, it's quite difficult even for the preemie/newborn/0-3 range as each one can be so different. i find Carter's run smaller/tighter whereas Gerber outfits run larger and wider. Now add in the clothes offered by all the Chi-NA shops and you'll find 0-6 months! i'm like, why such a wide age span for the one outfit? Babies can grow to fit in something that might come larger but not our dolls! LOL! i was looking at one outfit that was so cute, one of those 0-6 months and a Mom posted a picture of her baby wearing it...everything fit fine except the legs were way too short! Talk about ridiculous! Then i learned today from a farmer that meat sold in our stores that state, 'Product of USA' doesn't always mean animals raised here in the states but can also include animals imported from a lot of other countries! i hate this international trade debacle! Sorry! i know that is 'off topic' but that upset me to no end. As for that 48" doll, i have seen her, too, and thought, 'WOW! She's almost as tall as i am!' LOL! i found it hard to handle the AD dolls as they seemed a bit too heavy for me but i am determined to not let that stop me! As for whatever it is they use to keep these dolls together, there are many KZbin videos on how to repair a doll, so i am sure there is one out there. One more question: How do you know how to measure to order a new wig? Do you measure the circumference of the dolls head? i think i remember watching a wig change that Snickerdoodle did on a doll. i can't remember the full title of her YT channel. There's just something about them, isn't there? i think i'm collecting dolls to bring back my own children when they were little. i bought the AD Luis doll first before getting his sister. As soon as i saw his cute face, he reminded me of a picture of my Australian husband...he was a little guy that had climbed up a tree and had that same mischievous look on his face! i just laughed when i saw it and ordered it straightaway. Both Luis and Louisa are gorgeous and i named them after the hubby and his sister. The funny part is, my sister-in-law got a rescued cat with MY name, Darla Mae! I dress mine in 3t u derclothes (Tshirt and panties) then for ease of dressing(I have some mobility and strength issues) I put mine in 4T-5T. The limbs are thick so I find 3T too snug. Also the shoes size is 7 TODDLER exactly or 23 in Euro size. I buy 6.5-7 depending on the cut of the shoe or sneaker. I have mine showcased on my channel as well if it helps and no later than this Saturday will be doing a size review with TEMU and Wish clothes. Hope this helps. I love these two and their channel and they helped me but our girls. One from Amazon and one from a thrift.
