Great video and I have learned a lot. Sure I will be back to understand better, as this is like learning from a fire hose. I figure you have learned from a lot of previous experience, so thanks for sharing this knowledge. I like all the special modes you have done to help with maintenance. Well thought out. Thanks very much!

Absolutely awesome! An amazing engineering feat! *Applause* So, it looks like you could be a step away from being a commercial grower! Ever thought of doing that? A supplier to small groceries, restaurants etc

Subscribed! Thanks for the great info man. As a mechanical engineer I'm totally geeked out by your system. You clearly put a lot of thought into the setup with an eye toward ease of operation and maintenance. Well done sir!

What a fabulous setup. I'm going to closely emulate what you've done here for a smaller system that I can slowly build upon. Questions: What's your timer schedule like? How long on, and how long off? Also, how often do you do a full nutrients change?

First let me say that I've been known to pay $100 for fishing tackle, bait and gas to catch $10 worth of fish fillet. I can't help thinking that you're doing the same thing here. There's nothing wrong with it if you've decided it's worth it, but I'm thinking you're growing $20/lb peppers. Again - I get enough out of fishing that I"m happy to overpay for the actual fish. It looks like you really enjoy the building process - good luck.

Great Setup. Could you explain the top off a little more. What did you use for a valve? And how is it plumbed into your water filter?

I'm curious as to how many aeroponic heads you have in there, and what kind of pump do you have feeding the system? Do you have a rule of thumb about this what you need for acceptable solution in terms of the pump you need and how many heads it can drive? Very impressive.

Thanks for your time. I am interested in the rail system for a basement or green house. This looks fairly easy to build. Peppers, lettuce and tomatoes you say?

Hello, Thank you for the previous answer. I managed to find the tubes. A technical question; tubes are 2 meters long? I saw that you did 7 holes for each tube, each 25 cm, right? What is the distance between a tube and other? The same elapsing between the centroid of a hole on the other? Or better the measure of diameter of a tube and a vacuum (and so on)? Forgive me many questionsI would not want choke the plants need to breath between them. Thanking you in advance, I cordially greet.

Looking at this I'm wondering how your going to be able to get access to all the plants. Also I'm wondering if all the plants will be able to support themselves.

Awesome job… did you experience any clogging issues during your grow with the use of organic nutrients running through your micro sprinklers? Overall very smartly designed, how were your end results in comparison to your invested time and money?
@grantmyers75939 жыл бұрын
I think the different species of pepper plants are going to make the mild ones hot and intermingle the tastes of the peppers. If you grow basil and tomato together, you get a good combination but not sure on the peppers.

hey bud great video! im in the process of putting together a aeroponic type systems similar to this but on a smaller scale. what fitting are you using for the drain connected to the square pipe that drains back to the reservoir? does your pipe drain completely or is there a bit left at the bottom of the square pipe?

Can you please post more videos on you awesome system :) I love your system. I saw on your previous videos that you had that drop line for the nozzles. Did you take them off? Also Is there a parts list on your system? Like to build it myself. Thank you

As others have said ~ Absolutely Awesome! Now, beyond the visual impact of your dynamic construction - how will you be able to harvest beyond arms reach? You must be a plumber or live next store to a plumbing supply wholesaler. My biggest issue is getting home a forgetting a small connection:)) and I live many miles away. Problem with cuckes, I'm afraid that the misters will get clogged from the massive roots (DWC or drip?). Just Terrific Jason, won't ask for price sheet for PVC.

+Jksax914 Keeping track of the water used is a great idea. You can know the capacity of your system for adding nutrients or pH up or down. Where did you find that Flowmaster water meter thing, and how is it working for you after a few years. Is this system something you have continued to use in the past years, Jksax?

i think this has to be most amazing grow set up of this style but seems excessive use of power to achieve the results, i think using high quality tube CFL from Econlux would be a better idea than the HPS 1000 watt for this application. You could achieve a good result with this. Good LED is to expensive to buy and HPS to hot and to expensive to run for this application. The cfls are cool and can be closer to the plants. Nice plumbing and especially like the flow control meter with the water filter. You can buy different CFL tubes to run at different stages of the grow blue for early growth and extra red for final stages. You may even find mixing them with some UVb tubes might be interesting the final stages to see if it adds a lot of flavor to the peppers, not sure if that would work or not. I would store your nutrients nearer to that sink that position is not cool enough you are placing it. Overall extremely impressive would just try to get your carbon footprint down a little and put that HPS away till it might be really needed.
