I really appreciate this video. The speed is s u p e r s l o w . . . , which is very useful as it allows me to really get into the mechanics of the script. The vocabulary and grammar I don't find especially challenging, but there are still many points where I just didn't understand the full meaning at first. This is excellent practice! I'll give some examples: 車が必要な距離にしかありません。 For a minute, I didn't realize the implicit topic was コインランドリー. 洗濯物は部屋で干すしかありません。This taught me that we don't always have to nominalize a verb with のは or のが. 雨だからって部屋で干すと。This gave me a really easy way to express a condition, i.e. "drying [clothes] in your room *because of* the rain". 洗濯物は部屋で干すと乾かないですし。This taught me that 干す is more like "to air" and indicates a process, while 乾く is "to dry" and is more like the completed process: the clothes are aired but still don't properly dry. It also taught me that you can use し after です. Also great for shadowing practice! Thank you!
