Cain teasing Aaron about his skirt and Aaron looking like a disgruntled puppy with his adorable curls is GOLD. He's almost got a caesar-cut, except it looks way less douchey. I wanted Robert to play with Ross and make him grovel and he's delivered. I can always count on that devil. And he deserves his payback. Sucks to be Debbie but both Cain and Pete tried to warn her. Wait, now I´ve watched the last part of the clip. Did Robert said he killed Katie and he felt nothing??? WOW finally lol That´s exactly what I noticed when he was next to her dead body, couldn´t care less and even started talking in a sarcastic way there alone next to her DEAD body. I´ll leave what he did to Aaron right after that on a side today :)

+sanyrub He was just saying it to scare Ross into believing Robert was capable of killing him, though. It's strange how he says this once, and you instantly believe him and all the times he has told Andy and Aaron that he hates himself for it and that he feels the same guilt Aaron does vanishes from your memory. Why would this be any more true than that? Maybe he didn't feel anything the second it happened (I believe he was in shock), but we could clearly see many times the following weeks that he was clearly very affected by her death. Especially the time he went to Wylies with Andy.

+violet hill to be fair Robert is supposed to be portrayed as a villain. Just like ross. Which is why so many people who watch the show hate them so much. Both are smug, bitter and throw their toys out the pram when they don't get their way. Although Robert has shown he has a bigger heart than ross. And hopefully for aaron's sake that if they do get back together, he's redeemed himself enough to be trusted again.

+Tiff Chaffey Yeah I get what you mean. Although I'd say Ross is more ruthtless. My point is that Robert is not a 2D character. If anything, he's one of the most if not THE most complex character atm on the show imo. He can be utter trash, manipulative, but also caring and sincere... Yes, shocker. He cares about his family and he cares about Aaron. It doesn't excuse any of the awful things he's done but also doesn't make him a plain villain. There's so much more to the character than that. But some people see what they wanna see I guess :) I do think he's on the path to redemption, but he wont ever be an angel that's for sure and tbh I wouldn't like him nearly as much if he was. He has wronged Aaron so badly he needs to apologize till hell freezes over and prove himself to Aaron over and over for as long as it takes till that trust is rebuild. We'll get there, eventually :)

+violet hill you're definitely right about people seeing what they want to see. Particularly with him. To some people, Robert was in the right when he mocked Aaron for his scars, for his mental health in general, and about Jackson. People thought it was ok for him to try and kill paddy. It's horrible. And after all that, the same people were moaning about Aaron for lashing out at that security man. I agree that Robert is complex to some extent, but he's definitely been more manipulative than caring. Being the most complex doesn't make me like him any more than I already do. Aaron is quite complex in a way, but that's not the reason he's my favourite, there's more to it than that. He's a top actor for starters, probably the best in the show, his storylines interest people more, people can relate to the character more etc. But I agree, Robert can be redeemed, and when that happens that's when I'm happy with him to be back in Aaron's orbit again :)
