Yep, when I have a lock without a key and I want to turn it into a CL, I rake it with a Multipick Bogota and finish it off Peterson Gem - usually works a treat. Mind you, they often open with just the Bogota 😃 Cheers Roy and all the best to you and yours - Have a great weekend 👍 🍻

There's been a couple of locks that's been a pain to spp, taken far too long to open. This way of doing it works really well and usually quicker. I'm not a great fan of the sharp peaked Bogata but I love the more curvy version. I also like the worm rake. I used to do the classic as a kid and chase the girls with worms. You can't knock it, one of those girls I married 😉 Cheers Tinnie, be good, be kind and all the very best to you good sir.

It's good to experiment and find alternative ways for the open. This method works really well on a lot of locks. 😉👍

What you are seeing isn't my first open. My first attempt took a bit longer.

I think different picking techniques are fun in their own way. This idea usually works well on security locks I've found, although not all. Then again where would the fun be in that 😉👍

Options Royston its all about the options!

Absolutely!!! There's locks that's been a right pain to open spp, but opened with ease this way. Like you say "Options", plus a good chocolate drink always helps 😂.

I've used this technique several times on security locks and it's super effective. Funny enough it's normally quicker but hey the camera's on 😂

I think this is where raking really comes into it's own, on those stubborn locks. 😉👍

@roysammons2445 I'm starting to put serious focus on raking the false set and picking from there. Seems to be helping both my raking and picking, I've def improved recently.

@@SeeStuDo It's a great way to pick. Practice makes perfect 😉

Nice one Roy. I do like lawlocks "Nessie" for this technique, although I don't do it often as I'm an spp man usually 😊thanks for sharing and I hope you and yours have a great weekend buddy 🙏🤜🤛👍

This technique comes into play with me when a lock is being darn right stubborn. I must get myself a Nessie, although not sure the Mrs would like me to have one and they are so big they wouldn't fit in the house 😂. Cheers Nick 🙂👍

Not 100% sure where I learnt this technique, I seem to think it was from you Chris. I've gotten open some stubborn lock doing this several times. 😉👍
