You are the best! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge - and for the details you provide! I haven’t tried to resin yet, but am getting close to doing it and needed this information! I have learned so much from your videos. Regarding the pieces you need to re-resin, how do you sand them? Do you use a light vs. heavy grit and how much resin do you need to sand off? Thanks again!

And don’t forget to scrape the bottom and sides really well while you mix…and never again after you finish mixing. You are so awesome Lisa, you know I love everything you do. This is so very informative and wonderful for beginner resiners and not beginners as well. You are a great teacher. And wow the viscosity of that resin is thick. And I can’t believe the ‘real estate’ you can cover with a ‘small’ amount. And do let people know that no matter how scary it is, sanding works and it really does get smooth as glass after that. I know you don’t usually sand, but sometimes it is needed

Just starting to learn about resin. I wish I knew what the pieces are, except for the coasters. I don’t even know what they are. Wall art? I’ll look also to see how you get the designs on other videos.

You didn't mention about getting them perfectly level. I test with a level. You resin is way thicker than mine too. Mine pulled away from the edge and unsure why. Thank you 💗💗✅

Perfect timing! I am going to resin a couple of pieces tomorrow. I do have a question. When sanding a piece, do you sand all the way to the bottom? Or just rough up the entire piece?

Great tutorial! I struggle the most with getting clean edges with good coverage even on the cradle wood panels-- do you have a tip for what you do? Aside from running your hand along the sides do you do anything else to get good doming? Thanks!! 💕

Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for this resining info! I have a follow-up question: I understand that you should remove tape no more than 24 hours post pour. If you need to re-resin a piece when you find a resin blemish, do you remove the original “resin” tape and re-tape before the next coat of resin…OR do you go ahead and re-resin, then pull the original tape after the second resin coat dries?
@lisamarvinart
@lisamarvinart 3 ай бұрын
Oh I don’t follow that rule about taking off the tape lol. Yes but re-taping if you need to is fine!
@lisamarvinart
@lisamarvinart 3 ай бұрын

Great tutorial!! Do you re-resin a piece if you find one or two little dust specks in the surface? That’s my bane!!!! 😢 I don’t know if those tiny imperfections are acceptable.

When doing a larger painting would you have to support the canvas from the back to prevent pooling? I tried to do one once and it all pooled to middle.
