I have had mine for a little more than 2 weeks and I mainly use the 1k hz with zero issues and pretty good battery life. I also don't have any issues with 4k I just don't like to overcharge my devices. Overall flawless quality and I'd 100% recommend this to anyone.

@@MsBrendan11 This is an assumption, but the best way to preserve battery health is to change to around 80%, never fully charged, and 1k hz puts less load on the sensor and increases the battery life compared to 4k hz.

@@HAMMER-V100 gotcha. So I guess we should only be using 4k hz when playing games seriously, & just switch to 1k or 2k otherwise. I’m new to 4k so this is good to know.

@@MsBrendan11 4k btw adds a noticeable load onto your CPU processing which could affect FPS in certain games that are CPU bound like Valorant or CS:GO---and unless you're playing above 1600 DPI, 2k is probably your sweet spot. That is mostly because until you hit 1600 DPI your mouse is not updating rapidly enough to properly populate 4k HZ reading and Optium Tech has a video on it (well attached to his g pro x2 video). Just a heads up since you mentioned being new to it, you could of course just play at 2hz or up your DPI and lower IG sens to stay around the same eDPI.

The side grills were a bit annoying. It is highly recommended to install the side grip tapes. But other than that, it’s a great mouse. Mouses are not meant to be squeezed. And yea, when I first saw the mouse, I did notice that it came with a bottle opener lol. I haven’t tried opening a bottle of beer with it, but might try it out as an experiment.

Tbh at this point almost all the mice using a 3395 are indistinguishable as far as performance for the most part. The differences are .001-.02ms. It’s all about shape, clicks and quality at this point. Focus on that bc you won’t notice any differences in performance.

Hello, I have been thinking on buying this mouse, but there are a few drawbacks that are making me not wanting to. First I am scared about its software, I know its in a pre-release state, but it makes me have my doubts about it. My other problem is the giant dongle, its quite big... I would honestly prefer a smaller one, and having the screen looking up probably makes it kinda useless because you wont see it most of the time depending on your setup, but I gess they could add a smaller version in the future. My last "problem" with this mouse is, I am not sure I will get used to it. I have only ever used palm grip because I have only ever use the deathadder Essential and the deathadder V2... wich i think they kinda force you to use palm grip, so never realy tried other griping styles. But at the same time I am very curious about it and would like to try them out since most people use finger tips or claw grips on gaming mouses, so there must be a reason! Also, this kinda is lodged with other subject, I am scared it would be unconfortable for me because of its size, my hands are 17.5cm and 9.5cm, I dont think those are considered big so it should be fine, but I would like to hear your opinion about it 😂

I really like my Beast X. I picked one up in purple and got it a couple of weeks ago. Oddly, mine came with dot skates installed. I like them well enough so I haven't bothered with the other skates. I did have a weird feeling where it was like the mouse would change DPI while using it. It wasn't a big thing, but it was there. I turned off motion sync and it fixed the issue. I liked the mouse enough to order a black and gold one which is on its way to me now. Thanks for putting out this review! I was looking forward to seeing your take 🙂
