Pastor Shin is one of my favorite speakers on, "The Sanctuary." Lord bless our mother who does not offer to study the word of God with her children like she use to now that she is 90 years old, even though salvation is personal, and has not offer often since she tiered 70 and beyond, yet claims she does not understand some of her children. Lord God do not allow me to think I am saved and I am lost.

Why do people think we are a cult? I don't get it. Nothing I've ever been taught while in the church is anything it sola scriptura, and that Jesus is the savior and the Son of God. Period. Even EGW writings instruct people to go back to the Bible and if it is not found there there is no light in it. It breaks my heart I don't get it.

When Jesus died, the veil was torn, and God moved out of that place never again to dwell in a temple made with hands (Acts 17:24).

Yes, you are correct in the sense that the transition went from the earthly sanctuary made by humans to a heavenly sanctuary made by God. Hebrews 8:1-2 "Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being." Paul points out that Jesus is our High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary after His ascension.

The veil be it in the outer linen wall of the courtyard or the entry to the tabetnacle of the congregation or separating the holy fromm the most holy are all representing of the " light" of life which is revealed by the office of " The Word Of God" held by the Son of God. It is how we respond to that light that will decide if we are one of " my sheep hear my voice" . One of the motivating influences is that if we are faithful unto death then we trust that the Son of God can raise us from the dead into a life without end .It is in this latter point that Jesus is the door of the sheepfold.

Further, if Jesus is the sacrifice ONCE in the end of the world(Heb 9:26) and entered ONCE into the HOLY place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.(Heb 9:12) and is entered into heaven itself, NOW to appear in the presence of God(most holy place) for us.(Heb 9:24) then He began His work as High Priest cleansing US as soon as He entered heaven and cast out the accuser of the brethren. 1843, 44, 45, and 50 are of no consequence. If they believed the investigative judgement then why did they continue setting dates for His return. Heb 10:12 But this man, after He had offered ONE sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the HOLIEST by the blood of Jesus, Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people. 15 And for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. IF we as the sanctuary are cleansed, it is that we may enter into the holiest of holies in the presence of the Father and not die, covered by the blood of Christ. Every single verse testifies against an investigative judgement starting in 1844(or was it 43, 45, or 50?) proving it is false. We are presently being sanctified(Heb 10:10) by Jesus the High Priest. The sanctuary was cleansed on the last day. When the sanctuary IS cleansed there will be no more sanctification of the people.(Rev 22:11) By this, we know the sanctuary did NOT START being cleansED in 1843, 44, 45, or 50. Actions speak louder than words. They didn't even subscribe to the 1844 investigative judgement as late as 1850 as they HOPED for Jesus' return after a 7 yr tarrying period which they started WHEN? 1843 not 1844,(1843 + 7 = 1850) They were STILL looking for their original INTERPRETATION even in 1850 off of 1843, so 1844 did not gain significance in this church until after that disappointment. By then I'm sure it was as much as they could bear, and the time had come to stop date setting and invent a new reason why they were right all along. It is at this point they REALIZE the interpretation of the investigative judgement which is refuted by the book of Hebrews.

Hello friend, The Seventh-day Adventist church never made any such predictions. Millerites made the perditions of 1844 not Seventh-day Adventist. The Adventist church was later born out of that great disappointment as people began to study and understand more clearly what happened in 1844. @@3abn I appreciate your correspondence. I know the Millerites made the 1843 chart. As you said, it is the study following the great disappointment by which the SDA church is born. Every church is born of bible study and the interpretations derived. Surely there is a heavenly sanctuary. There is not a sanctuary in the new heaven and new earth.(Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.) There is no more need of sacrifice and no more sin in the new heaven and the new earth. There is sin in this world and therefore there must be a sacrifice for sin. Heb 10:10 says Jesus offered Himself once for all, and vs 12 says after which He sat down on the right hand of God. Heb 9:24 says, For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, NOW to APPEAR in the presence of God FOR us. We live in a sinful world and God is good to forgive us our sins when we ask.(1 John 1:9) That's 24/7. We are sending up prayers for forgiveness like smoke continually like when the priests continually offered up daily sacrifices for the sins of the people. Jesus is the mediator(1 Tim 2:5) between us and God. We pray directly to Jesus our savior for His mercy and blood sacrifice to cover us. He as High Priest appears in the presence of God for us.(Matt 10:32-33 him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.) I suspect anyone who Jesus confesses before the Father has their name written in the book of life.(Phil 4:3 & Rev 3:5) It is this by which the angels may know whom to seal as anyone who's name is not written therein receives the wrath of God. For this reason I do not believe in the conclusion of investigative judgement by which this SDA church is born following the great disappointment of 1844. I do not believe God scrutinizes to discover who is worthy to be saved. I believe Jesus confesses those who confess(believe on Him) Him before the Father and they are saved. Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment, and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels. We overcome this world when we overcome self(Matt 21:44) and love others as our self as God loves us.(John 16:33 but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.) We agree that there is a heavenly sanctuary. We agree also in this, the last day is a dark day,(Amos 5:18-20) the day of judgement. The day that Gods judgement is made known unto us.(Isa 62:11) Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

God have mercy on those who preach sweetened falsehood such as the Investigative Judgment-the falsehood that the SDA interpretation of the sanctuary is supposed to bolster. Note: not every message that moves the emotion or even the intellect is from God. Let’s read the Bible with the guidance of the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth (see John 16:13).
