In 1984, I accepted Jesus into my life through the SDA church in a Rev. Seminar...became sober, got a college degree, and have been Blessed ever since...was I accepted by my church family, only by very few.. I hated to say...it still hurts!

Barbara, I share your sentiments and experience. It just goes to show, we have a large number of baptized Adventist, but very few that are truly convicted at heart.

You know I'm at a point now where I wonder if we are more loyal to a denomination than God's principles. Yes, the movement was founded on the truth, but that's not being manifested in the church. Then this is justified by saying the wheat and tares must grow together.......

How do you approach and help someone that has a grave drug addiction and is in denial?
