There are also lots of joyful ways for children .. Bible quiz, stay in nature, learning new hymns, prepare creative cards for lonely people, or for those in hospital or old age home, etc... The Sabbath must be seen as a blessing!!!

Great scriptural responses. I’m glad pastor Lomacang corrected what he meant to say previously about Moses and Enoch are in heaven and Elijah that went up in a chariot of fire. This is for the sister concerned about keeping the Sabbath Holy...I explain to my children that on Sabbath we do special things for God...after church, whenever the weather allows, we take them for a picnic and then a walk. We seat under a tree and tell them Bible stories, and we color Bible books ( for sale at Dollar Stores). If the weather is not favorable, we have a box with Sabbath games ( we got them at the Adventist bookstore). We also bought some costumes ( not Disney-related), so we can play pretend. They love to be Queen Esther, Mary, and Martha! The box has everything they need to play alone or with us, who would not like to be invited to a banquet? Or to sail with the disciples? The lion's deans? we do it all! Of course, it is a lot of work, but to see our children enjoying the Sabbath is priceless! Every week they shout with joy when Sabbath comes. I let them choose a special Sabbath treat that they help me to make. As for your husband, explain to him that his example as a father is very important for the children. Pray with your husband, so God can show what pleases Him on His Holy Day.

If the parents will plan ahead they can help to make the Sabbath a delight for the children. We don't need everyday games, Etc.

Also I want to add the part in Nehemiah besides the business transactions, he talked about treading the wine press, bringing in sheaves so the working on Sabbath is condemned also. Including cooking on Sabbath, see Exodus 16:23. The main idea is to spend time with God, family and nature and be renewed in Christ.

Keeping sabbath day holy or worshipping on sabbath is optional under NT so that SDA people can't brag about it or look down other evangelicals. Sabbath was between Jews and GOD under OT exclusively (Exo 31:13) and so was circumcision (Gen 17:10). Read Heb 4:7, 8. Then worshipping on sabbath (Sat) or any day of the week is OK under NT. If you insist on observing sabbath, then what makes you feel free from receiving circumcision or keeping other Mosaic law?

Concerning the Sabbath command a man and a woman is 1flesh your daughters and sons can't come from 1 parent so the home of marriage is 1 flesh so neither you nor your children animals strangers amen

In the heavenly invisible realm, only spirits are there, not snakes and spiders, for "flesh and blood cannot inherit God's (heavenly) Kingdom" (1 Cor 15:50), and in which the material or earthly realm is where snakes and spiders are designed to reside, being "souls" (Hebrew nephesh that literally means "breather" that requires oxygen to live) and not in heaven (see Gen 1:20-25), and play a key role in maintaining the earth's ecological system.(Note: at Genesis 2:7, it says of the first man called Adam (that means "earthling man"), that "the Lord God [whose name is Jehovah, see Isa 12:2, KJV] formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" [King James Bible], so that until Adam was given "the breath of life" by Jehovah starting him to breath through his nostrils, he was a DEAD soul) For example, spiders "remove" an estimated 400 million insects per kilometer every year, being a key player in the system of "checks and balances". Otherwise, insects (six legged creatures) and arachnids (eight legged creatures) would overwhelm the earth in a very short time. The apostle Paul further said at 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 what must occur for only those who will become spirits, as the "chosen ones" (Matt 24:22, 24, 31), as "God's sons" (Rom 8:14), as "heirs indeed of God, but joint-heirs with Christ" (Rom 8:17), who "received a spirit of adoption as sons, by which we cry out: Abba, Father......that we are God's children" (Rom 8:15, 16), saying: "So it is with the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised up in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised up in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised up in power. It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body." So, only those who are the "chosen ones" of 144,001 "sons" from among obedient mankind will reside in heaven as members of God's heavenly Kingdom, and not any animals or insects or arachnids or anything physical.(Rev 7:4; 14:1-3; Note: Jesus is the "1" that is also a "chosen one" as a member of God's heavenly Kingdom, being its leader, see Luke 9:35, where the Greek word eklego meaning "to select" is used and NOT the Greek word agapetos [used at Matt 3:17] that means "beloved" that the King James Bible reads there; see also Dan 7:13, 14) All material life resides on the earth, and when the earth is transformed into a paradise, the "meek" ones will enjoy all of it forever in perfect peace (Ps 37:11, 29), security (Micah 4:4), health (Rev 21:3-5), love (John 13:34, 35) and weather.(Mark 4:35-39)

@@rm_9856 Here is a challenge for many, of who "the woman" and her "offspring" is at Genesis 3:15, the first prophecy in the Bible that also be the last to be fulfilled, as seen in the Bible "book" of Revelation, with the "woman" being seen again at Isaiah 54, 60, 62, and Revelation 12, and of which Jesus quotes from Isaiah 54:13 concerning her "sons", saying, that "all your sons will be taught by Jehovah".(John 6:45) These "sons" will also become "spirits", being resurrected to life as members of God's heavenly Kingdom, that number 144,001, in which the "1" is Jesus Christ who is the first "offspring" the symbolic "woman" produced as a "chosen" one (Luke 9:35), while the 144,000 are imperfect but "declared righteous", "chosen" individuals and receive a resurrection to the heavenly realm as their everlasting "new birth" or "born again".(John 3:3; 1 Pet 1:3; Matt 24:22, 24, 31; 1 Cor 15:50-55; Rom 3:24; Rev 7:4; 14:1-3)
