I had a beat down like that at Dale Hollow a few years back. Lost my first fish at the boat. Partner caught brown fish and 1 6# rainbow while I watched and netted for 2 days…… Side note: I love my tightlining rod from Dixie Rods. What kind of hair jigs are they? Do you use chapstick on the hair?

The Dixie TightLine Rod is good for multiple techniques. I throw small jigs, crankbaits, topwater and Ned’s on it. We tie our own hair jigs, but, most local tackle shops carry a good selection. Try Just Fish’N in Bristol, VA. I’m used to Kevin putting it on me, he’s a 3-Time All-American qualifier on the boater side and hammer. Thanks for watching and commenting!
