The start of a new adventure.. (Van Life Stealth camp at Halloween)
This week we start a whole new adventure as we head for van life in Scotland! We start with a road trip on the lesser explored SWC300 on Scotlands west coast.
We are hoping to bring you lots of info as we travel along this tourist route and see what kind of stealth camping we can do and how easy it is to travel in a campervan or motorhome wild camping!
Before all of that though we meet some friends in the North York Moors, go rock climbing, have a look in some beautiful van conversions, explore a van converters workshop, see a fully electric Volkswagen campervan, do our own van modification, and pick our own pumpkins! Unfortunately diagnosing things like this in a dog takes a little longer than a person as he can’t speak. We will keep you posted as things move along but until we have the info we literally can’t give it to you. He’s under the vets care and we are doing what they’ve suggested until we can isolate the problem but right now he is happy and comfortable.

hope poor AJ feels better soon and lots of virtual hugs to you lou and emily.... i have bunnies and one of mine had only been in my house half an hour when i realised she was ill.... we went to the vets they said she was fine so was her sister... 5 vet visits later all previous vets saying she was fine and both of them were not well and FINALLY the vet comes to me and tells me im not going insane and the bunny that was first ill now has pneumonia because it wasnt diagnosed fast enough and the other has pasteurella.... i was super annoyed. luckily both bunnies are doing well now.... pets at homes answer was if you arnt happy you can return them???? that made me even more annoyed because pets are not disposable and we literally loved those bunnies the second they were in our house. we made a commitment to look after them for life and we will

Welcome to Gods own country, the forgotten part of Scotland. I live in a village called Port William. The Isle of Whithorn has a free overnight park up with water and toilet waste. The Galloway hills are amazing and they are trying to make it national park status. I hope the weather picks up for you, we have had a lot of rain and it is a beautiful area but best seen when sunny. Louise don't forget keep your pumpkins when your finished with them then all you need is a potato peeler and a sharp knife then all you need is an extra large pan with water in and then you need is some potatoes and some carrots and some leeks and some more Extra large pans with some water in and wait till your vegetables are cooked then you will need a potato masher and a strainer to strain the water out of your pans and put all your vegetables into one pan and mash them together and put your selves some sausages put them into the cooker

Be sure to look out for the seals on the coastal road between ballantrae and girvan. There are a couple of great lay-bys where you can pull in right next to the sea. It's a pebble beach but you'll see lots of seals either sat on the rocks or bobbing in the sea. There is a great free park up at Isle of whithorn with waste disposal, water and toilets. You'll probably see the odd seal swimming in the port there also.

Another great adventure video Ladies! So sorry AJ is feeling poorly. I'd like to offer a bit of a "hack" I learned with my doggo who had the Bionic Super Dog surgery on her knee. I made a sling out of a cloth shopping bag by slicing it along the sides. I could then sling it under her belly and use handles to lift her to give her assistance over main obstacles like stairs or to just support her on our walks. It really helped especially once she lost her vision as well. I hope he feels better soon!

Dumfies and Galloway is a real hidden gem,pst don't tell anyone! As you girls are into adventures why not try you hand at Mountain Biking there are a number of great trail centres some which hire bikes even electric bikes! There are a number of green and blue trails for begineers which will get you deep in the forest with a real kick of adrenline!
