The PP-19 Bizon is a 9x18mm Makarov submachine gun developed in 1993 by the Russian company Izhmash. It was designed by a team of engineers headed by Victor Kalashnikov (son of engineer Mikhail Kalashnikov, creator of the AK-47). Alexei Dragunov, son of Yevgeny Dragunov (the creator of the SVD sniper rifle), was also a member of the team.
The Bizon was developed at the request of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) and was primarily intended for counter-terrorist and law enforcement units for close range combat. It is issued to armed response units of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and Ministry of Justice in Russia.
The Bizon uses a simple straight blowback method of operation with an unlocked breech system. One of the Bizon's more unusual features is the magazine, which is often mistaken for a grenade launcher. The cylinder below the barrel is a 64-round helical-feed magazine, similar to the type used in the American Calico M960 submachine gun.

It's a pity they stopped producing this and went back to making a more conventional MP style magazine. Definitely one of the many interesting ways to feed in bullets like the P90.

@@wesman7837old comment, but a hitmarker is a video game mechanic in which the game will make a sound or a small icon when you hit an enemy player with a shot. But in most video games, to balance the very high mag capacity it is often quite weak, which causes many hitmarkers.

i have no idea, but that is a recipe for disaster. lead fouling in those deposits would cause a bore obstruction and detonate the gun. has to be some sort of magic vent holes

It could possibly be to leech gas from the cartridge as the barrel is too short to use the full powder burn. All that this would do is mildy help decrease mussle flash.

Like a meat grinder in reverse - the helical screw rotates (powered by a drum spring, like a retractable keychain) and pushes the cartridges out of the loading port

You just load it normally it has a standard set of feed lips on the chamber side.

In theory, it is very compact for the amount of ammo it can hold. Sadly, it is just too cumbersome and bulky to be practical.

Mechanizm is bazed on ak mechanizm so firerate is low and as its obvius this gun just sucks in my opinion and krinkov/AKS-74U is way better then this and actually fires 700-800 rom not 600

rom is worthless. Full auto is functionally useless outside CQB, and even then im skeptical on its purpose when you have explosives and dedicated machine gunners available
