Not an expert but I don't think there is much 3d requirements for anime, only few scene use them for few objects and people certainly don't like 3d anime stuff rather go 2d if you want to be in anime industry but anime industry is shit for artists low pay, high work, there are few informative videos about anime industry as an artists you should watch them first

I guess most people are attracted to this industry (specially young generation) is not because of work profile or something, but they themselv like playing games and thinking, how cool it would be to work in an industry which is not regular 9 to 5 industry, Jaha har waqt boss ki chaatni nhi padti. I guess you should bust myth about this also, whether this industry is really that cool to work in.
