3 mirrors in the same bo5 set is crazy, I'm loving these matches. This was the first one where it felt like a direct battle of attrition, it's really interesting to see them fighting for inches.

Kiljardi is very good with the French! I would have instantly made some spears to put around the gold mine and shorefish areas but then again I'm just a Plat scrub.

The towers did nothing, they could make spears a leave them under the towers so archers would die by trying to pick them of. You want to deny your opp investiments (knights) to pay off (kill vills/idle them). Its way easier and cheaper to play defense in this game than offense, thats why some of those agressive civs have bonusses on trrade to force you out on the map. But i have little experience in this matchup so who knows
