3D!Bee Shows Why Gilded Archers Should Be FEARED!

So I got a question. I've played many games now with all the new civs. I feel the achilles heel of order of the dragon is mass crossbowman. No matter what unit u dish out it feels super bad to watch the mega expensive units get smashed by crossbows. If someone uses springbald with crossbowmen it feels like u cannot win. What are your guys suggestions on this? Have any one of u also faced this exact match up?

Order of the Dragon feels rough right now because it is so expensive to switch up your army composition easily. So in theory that comp you described would get destroyed by gilded archers but it would take so long to make the switch they would be able to get siege in time. Order feels like you have to go 2 TC and hit a nice castle timing where your superior units can overwhelm the weaker units before they can get a massive army that can trade into yours.

Wut u mean archers smash them? Or a few horsemen. I Would agree that crossbows are better against ootd than any civ (since over killing isn’t as big of an issue), but they are easily countered. You must play ootd the right way. Like for an example when playing hre, you make infantry like your maa or landsknecht (Kandahar), and other units to assist. With OOTD you make Ranged and assist with other units.

Nest of bees has always been unbalanced IMO and now we have 2 new civs that can use them... but loving the expansion anyways
