Got through another part! ^-^ I'm really excited to see the front really start taking shape, and I'm glad I've patiently followed the tutorials so far.

Good stuff! For projects like this you'll need be a little patient, a lot of cars don't take their shape until about 60-70% of the way through.

Thanks dude, I'm really struggling to model a car but now I think am learning a lot. And My car's bending part on top is matched perfectly but not on the front vie, if I move the front view it messes up the top. But in perspective view is looks totally fine. Is it okay or not? If not can you give me a solution please. Thankyou

From where do you get does Blueprints im using the website the-blueprints but the blueprints don´t have that much depth in them like your blueprints?
@breaker19ist7 жыл бұрын
i know im a little late to the party but in stead of moving a vertex to another vertex by using V and merging you can just use the target weld tool and take the vertex that needs to move to the other vertex and weld it, basically making your 3 button clicks one operation to speed up work flow. also i believe we are all advanced enough on this tutorial to be able to handle the short cut keys for move scale and rotate instead of watching you click the icons.

also my model is looking a little bit different than yours, but thats on purpose i added hood scoops to my bonnet and will eventually either add a rocket bunny wide body kit or a liberty walk wide body kit with a tail wing as well.

Thanks for the comment. I get what you're saying but I've been doing this so long, I've become a creature of habit. Merging, selecting, hitting icons I do without thinking because I'm spending that small about of time planning the next move. Making these videos with the limited time I have means I need to plan the geometry and what I'm going to do next whilst I'm recording, which means that muscle memory is just taking over. Also, there are many viewers that aren't advanced so there needs to be a balance.

hey i love your tutorials, and i have followed your steps very closely. i love the tip of following the lines of the object. but my doubt is: what will we do when it comes to the curves of the object? i always get stuck there. the curvatures of the same car can be different from each other. the rate of curvature in the curves of this huracan so far have been almost stable. what about vehicles like a jeep wrangler which has curves here and there? it would be nice if you could share your expertise regarding that. once again thank you for these lovely videos!

Yea I see what you're saying. We will soon be starting a 3rd series looking at a more curvy car. Currently in the process of trying to cover all bases with the choices of cars. Glad you're enjoying the vids.

thank you for you good explaining but i want to know how do you plan to start modeling in a new car shape what is the idea to make my own car model not to just follow some one videos
@8fifty2torials7 жыл бұрын
You just follow the main lines of the cars. The process is very similar for each car, identify the distinguishing lines and creases then add required lines in between. I always start in the same place and I model each car using the same tools. Like most things, just keep practising.

Essentially these videos teach you how to take a 2D image and turn it into a 3D model, but you're also learning everything you need to start from scratch and make your own, I'd recommend starting with drawing your idea if you haven't, then try to re-create that in 3D to your liking I'm intending on doing the same and eventually taking that to the point of mods for Assetto Corsa / Car Mechanic Sim 2018, knowing how everything works and learning good practices are the biggest part of this series

How do you 3D Model the Lamborghini body panels in correct proportion in order to fabricate its parts (fiberglass), using CNC milling? Similar to what is shown in the video below: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4Oblp5nhdGjjdE

It's my second day today, I was wondering when you are creating the lines you are taking the lines on the blueprint as guides but not exactly drawing over them. Why is that so? However, I think my doubts will be cleared as I progress with the tutorials. Anyone is free to answer my question :) Thanks. Edit: Back and picking up. Day 3! :) 2nd Edit: Headed for lunch! Post lunch will sit with the 4th lecture! This is better than school!
