Best way to add shadow 1.add gradient 2.goto transparency panel change mode normal to multiply 3.adjust the opacity as you need

@@Shanigraphic i just got illustrator and i'm self learning on youtube. so i follow experts while they design and design the logo with you guys. so far your design has been the most complicated but i'm keeping up. i didn't ask the question correctly, how did you transform the shadow object to fit the space? with the speed of the video i didn't get to see what tool you used.
