Awesome stuff Alex, but I think you went too fast. In my videos I do a 4x speed up. This one looks like 6x speed. Hard to catch up even for experienced 3d coat users. Design is fantastic though :)

Im just starting out with this program.. i got it incase Maxon Hatefucks Zbrush into the dirt, but so far after i finally got the most basics of it, i love it! It has more percise control than Zbrush.. i mean, i hope someday zbrush adds this sort of percise, grid based control too. But if they dont, im happy i bought and supported 3Dcoat!

@@Polygonlin I have been using it for 5 years and it has really improved , really fast and fun to use , I mostly use it for re topology and sometimes quick concepts , it's really good for concepting , its got some great tools , like the blob brush, hide , split , cut , extrude , the only downside is that it requires a powerful PC but other than that really awesome.

Dude .. new 3dcoat user here. I've learned so much just by slowing down this video. Even without commentary this video is my go-to. You should release some kind of 3dcoat sculpting tutorial. I'd be the first in line to get it.

Get 3dcoat print. Its free, and has many of 3dcoats tools used here. I mean, its free. Whats not to love? Just give it a try and see if you can add it to your tool belt.

@@AlexPi May I ask you the advantage of 3dcoat compare to Zbrush and blender? so if I need to choose one to learn except blender, which one should I use, I 'm already using blender as my main 3d software.

@@neoxu7881 if your into hard surf and you like to work fast, coat...zb is usually great for that sculpty orga stuff but both can do either. coat may have a more straight forward interface than zb. coat does easy retop and uv and tex paint pbr. doing that stuff in zb sucks...weirdly zb has better poly modeling tho with zmodeler. its materials and uvs are meh at best tho. if you can even understand its materials system. and that sys is not pbr. coat with its tex painting tools from bakes in it kills zb for getting renderer models out with pbr looking stuff...

I would like to know if you have made a tutorial on space-vehicle design using 3d coat, blender and keyshot. I'm aware of your other tutorials on gumroad but there's not one for the creation on this vehicle. thank you

no he didnt retopology it, watch the rendering in eevee video and you will notice the 12 million vertices count... a pain in an ass ofc

Amazing Work i like the Shape and very readabke sillouette, Did u use Blender for Modelling or just composing and Rendering seems like u can do everything in 3D Coat already, and did u get the Workflow from jama s Class and what do u think about the couses is it worth it and what kinda topic that he ll be teach ? Thank you! Jama teaches how to do cool concept design in 3D coat. (and explains the basics of 3D coat of course). If you want to learn concept design, I would advise you to take Mark Kolobaev course (the course is called Element Edition). For modeling, I use blender, in 3D coat and zbrush I mainly do design.
