Tyson's back at it again with another SketchUp tutorial! This time it's on modeling threads to exact specifications, in this case the Unified Thread Standard.
Although he creates a 3/4-10 UNC thread, this method can be used to make threads to any standard you want using a few key dimensions. As long as you have the major diameter, pitch, crest flat, root flat, and thread depth, you're ready to model along to create nuts, bolts, and any threads you like!
