3D-Printed Droideka Build: Episode 2 Printing and Assembling Legs

In Week 2 of our Droideka build, we’re making big strides-literally! A massive shipment of filament arrived, and we wasted no time putting it to use. This week, we 3D printed all the primary components for the iconic legs of the Droideka. Once everything was printed, we performed a dry test fit to see how the parts come together.

Did I just count 45 Kilos of PLA? Was this prior or after those prints in the opening of this video. That is over $800 in filament. My wife would NOT be onboard with that.😞

For this build it’s going to be anywhere from 35-40. I got 40 rolls for the project and the others are miscellaneous spools for other projects. Bambu gave me one heck of a bulk discount though!
