Fantastic, I firmly believe, 3d printing, and vary cutting machines is the future. Brilliant build, and all your own work.

Thanks, but credit to arocketone for the bulk of the original model.

Awesome work! I do have 2 small issues with the print files - Front Wheel is MASSIVE when loaded into Cura, Same with the coupler pin - Not sure why? Im working to rescale those items now. Everything else is great! and ill share pictures onto thingiverse when complete. Thanks again!

Sorry about the scale issues. I'll try to have a look at the files on the weekend and see if they match up with the final print. I tend to do circular objects either 10 or 100 times bigger because SketchUp struggles with small radius circles.

Such a neat little loco. Kudos for modifying the original model to your own needs. What software did you use?

Thanks. Just SketchUp.

I found out that LGB used to make a hogwarts express train. I think it would make a great review and add a bit of British steam to your G scale layout.

Also out of curiosity, was the shunter you built a Ruston?
@Cross_Trainspotting Жыл бұрын
It turns out I made an error, it was Lionel who made the G scale hogwarts express

I'm not sure if it's meant to be based on anything (I didn't design the original), but it definitely has Ruston vibes about it.

I think I've seen that somewhere. If you can find one in the UK then and it's not ££££ then I'd be interested.

I saw that the motor you used is 3-12V. Are you limiting the power in the DCC or in the tracks from 18V down to 12v? Or du you runt the motor at 18V?
@LittleWicketRailway Жыл бұрын
Hi Martin. I'm limiting the output from the decoder.
