Nice video, but what actually suprised me was how easy it was to make parametric lengths. I have been trying to find out how to make parametrics. And i find it funny i stumbled to ur vid for print in palce design in solidworks, and got the parametric parameters aswell! thanks man! :D

thanks, very helpful. Practically, a box with that large a top lid might not be too useful, it will be hard filling up the space and still being able to open/close it 😃

Do you think the design works still if you have offset halves of a box so the hinge acts more like a lid section instead of being at the middle of box?

I'm stuck in the part where you use the 25% of the length minute 6.20 . Where or how do you set the length value?

I set extruded length as variable at 1:53. I also set the width and depth at 1:13 and 1:23.
