This was pretty similar to what I thought; There are 4 slots, three that have different parts and one that will contain the long pen, then when you flick the middle up, something rotats and puts the three compartments in the seen area Dunno why I thought it would rotate but I did

This is a smart trick used in a lot of magic tricks. One example is the one where they cut a person in half. I actually thought that is was kind of an illusion trick, showing 1 thing, and then showing something else after. I have a magic book at home my grandma gave to me, so I know a few little tricks....

I haven’t seen the video yet, but I think, that when you lift the middle part, it gets hidden in that long hidden area at the top, and the bottom parts are connected to the very top part as one and are brought up to the holes to be visible
