Just a note on printing items with tight tolerance. Use let's say the frame as a start point, anything that has to fit into a channel or hole must, model line placement in the slicer is something to consider. If you are printing with a 0.4mm nozzle you are working with a 0.2mm differential on either side of the print line. This can be compensated for on some slicers, however most slicers print nozzle center on model wall center line. For me in Creality, designing a 4mm peg for a 4mm hole wouldn't work. It would have to be a 4mm hole and 3.6mm peg, as an example. This is all slicer based and of course printer quality based, some slicers have a fix for this. Also, some printers have Gcode modifications to address it.

I printed out The Harlot, a derringer pistol, in purple PETg-CF. Really complicated but I plan to assemble it as a display model only. It looks great in the matte purple I chose.

It's such an awesome print! Could you maybe leave the files in the description for the 3d printed pegs? I also have problems finding the proper screws for this build. Keep up the good work!

As an American, the fact that this was going to be a prop gun was not immediately clear. When I read the title, I thought someone in the fosscad community was actually brave enough to make a .357 lol

This fqt obviously baited us intentionally.

@@bravefastrabbit770 Or you're lacking logical thinking faculties. What part of it is bait as opposed to labelling what the video is about? Does it mention shooting a 3D printed revolver?

What kinds of screws and springs did you use? I have the exact same revolver, but I don't know what extra parts I need

There is a pdf in the files you download with the instruction on what you need. I made custom models out of a few cylinders to match the screws and printed them of

Hey Ross, long time follower of your main channel. Happy to see this new channel. What 3D printer do you use? I have wanted to get into 3D printing but don't know where to start. Appreciate you!

I still don't understand how people make the star, figure out how to make the action rotate the cylinder etc. It's too much for my brain to comprehend and it's real math...Too spooky. Designing semi-autos is way easier

@Black_Hole_Vr3 ай бұрын
@stormy_in_vr640 they didn't work well but you can melt the cover piece and it still works fine but you will need the screw for the cylinder at the minimum for strength.
