3D Printed Skimmer conversion kit installation

Works great. Took about a week to receive. The videos are deceiving I can't even hear my skimmer sucking air. I am using a vertex 180 skimmer and running the jebao 12000 pump maybe a little over kill but it's working great. The pump I used was old so I had a lot of trouble getting the factory impeller off the shaft. I also didn't have the correct pliers to remove the ring save yourself the trouble and order a cheap pair when you order this part. Thanks for making this part available.

Will this kit work with the new Jebao dct6000 pumps? The impellers seem to be held on differently.

I have heard dct6000 may not have the metal retention clip. I've ordered a dct8000 in 2015 and has the retention clip. I don't know if Jebao to not placing the clips now or just a couple are missing the clips.

yes- need to know if this will work on the newer DCT or DCS pumps or not- saw one amazon comment that the impeller is made differently on the DCT - apparently you cannot take the green piece off the shaft. So, obviously you cant put on the needle wheel on if you cant take off that green plastic piece.

yes, pump with kit is silent like before mod, just the usually slimmer air intake sound. Add a silencer will help a lot. From your address, I can then determine the shipping cost from usps.com. Hello, Do you have a kit for the DCS12000? DCS9000? Also do you know what kind of LPH draw are you getting at 100% power.

Your safest bet is to get DC9000/DC12000 pumps if you want to use my converter kit. LPH will depends on your back pressure and how your adjust the volute water inlet size. I don't have a device to measure LPH. When I tested DC6000 with my kit to mix RO water with Instant Ocean salt mix, it was able to skim off some "gunk" that keeps the salt mix from clumping together.

I personal have a DCT8000 that I ordered in 2015 and it works great. Assuming Jebao haven't changed anything, DCT8000 would work great. Otherwise, an older DC9000 or DC12000 will work as well since you can adjust the pump power level.

yes, but not optimal. You'll need to buy 1.5" to 1.25" PVC adapter at Home Depot/Lowes.

If you have a DCS pump, check if the plastic impeller can be removed from the shaft like the DC and DCT version. If yes, most likely, it will work. I do not personal own a DCS pump so I don't know for sure.

I do not believe the DCS impeller is removable from magnet and shaft, so I don't think it's compatible. DC pumps are also silent. If you don't reduce the size from pump to skimmer, than it should work fine with 12" diameter skimmer.
