The one set is stringy because they designed that part of the insert as a solid and then printed it with gyroid infill at a very low density with no top or bottom layers.

Morning bud... that's a sweet insert print.. you can get rid of that stringing if you want. use a heat gun on medium/ high heat, wave it and keep it moving over the area of strining. to clean it up a little.. awesome side hill driving man...are they going to put out the print file for those inserts at some point?? might need to use fusion360 to make some my self... great vid as always bud have a great day gentlemen 👍👍

The “stringing” is actually infill. The 1st stage is designed as a solid and you can adjust infill setting to adjust the softness of the 1st stage. The files are available at my mini factory, the links are in his description, also you can contact us there with an email or FB link in his description if you are interested in a specific size.

What inserts did you have before? I just got the squid inserts and, while they are very slightly more firm, they are no where near as big as you show. I can tell maybe 3/32” difference out of the tire, and almost non inside the tire. Side by side you can barely tell. They are more flat on the sidewalls as well. They also are less “flat” on the bottom, but I didn’t gain anywhere near the height you showed. Thanks for the videos man!

Nice, been looking for a dual stage that's a bit more pliable on the second stage, I've got the proline dual stage in the rear of Boris, but they are a bit stiff on the front. My rig only weighs 5.1 pounds, (was trying for the 4's, but truggy, and a winch,?) And the dual stage in front has a bit of a bounce when coming down a ledge drop. And it's in the tire, not the shocks. So, tried stock foams, no bounce, but hella side roll. (G8 Hyrax) Are these available now? Love your work. Thanks. Be well, and have fun.

We have some 4.75 inserts printed up already in the 109mm size, but the Tusks like a slightly larger insert than the standard 109mm (3BRC size) they like a 111mm insert while the Ruptures like a 113mm insert that is also 2mm wider as well. Hate to say it, but these look like a ripoff copy of the 3BRC anti-foam inserts. Be interested in knowing if 3BRC was smart enough to obtain (or, at least, file for) a patent. If so, they have a legal right to issue a "cease and desist" order to the producer of the design for these knockoffs.

The inner stage happens to have to same “hex” look, but the overall design and feel are different, the main thing is the outer stage is tunable for vehicle weight and also have different sizing beyone 3BRC ones.

They have no grounds to stand on. It only takes a small difference for them to be unique. By your thinking there would be only one company to buy shoes from. Or cars. Or phones. Get my point?

@@Truth_Spoken Patents don't always work that way. Yes, some patents are "specific", while others can "define an idea". For example, think back several years ago when, in regards to computer & mobile OS icons, Apple patented "square with rounded corners". That was a patent issued on an 'idea'...not a 'specific'...and, they were legally able force other companies to cease & desist...and, for a couple companies (including Samsung) who refused, they were able to file AND win lawsuits against those companies, forcing them to cease & desist (and, I'm not even an Apple fan...I despise Apple). Truth is, if 3BRC filed for a patent, there is enough 'similarity' in these inserts for 3BRC to win...again, *IF* 3BRC filed for a patent. However, if there's no patent, and no patent filing having been done before the file for these inserts was released, then 3BRC has nothing to stand on, and ANYONE can release such files, as well as sell their own versions.

Funny enough, if 3BRC could even produce some product, maybe it'd be worthwhile. I've been in contact with them since FEBRUARY, 3+ months ago, and they've been jerking my chain that a 2.2 5.75" anti-foam is coming soon, and I should hold off on ordering elsewhere. They have so little product on offer, it's frustrating because it looks like a great product. Why won't they take my money???? Jeez.
