I love seeing how 3D printing is being used in the real world. The more different industries incorporate the use of hobbyist grade printers, the quicker they can be re-engineered or redesigned to give better results. Thanks Joel.

I love seeing 3d printing in props. I sometimes work for "the big guy at the north pole" A simple crystal model with some fairy lights in them really makes a grotto come to life!

It's kinda wild they're just now getting in to 3d printing doing what they do. I would have figured that industry were one of the first to adopt them. The cost reduction has to be fairly large.

A dual Nozzle Printer or a Prusa 5 Head would also be a nice addition to their shop.

Such exciting work. This is the stuff 3D printing was meant for. You all must be holding out though. I spotted a Gigabot in one of your promo videos. You can print BIGGER!

Theme Parks, one of those areas where nearly everything is one off models and "just injection mold it" doesn't work, but 3D printing works great for.

TPU, dirt cheap, extremely durable (it’s one weakness is knives) if someone has a small budget… and would definitely hold up on a golf course straight off the printer👍.

I have a brand new Wanhao Duplicator 8, never used. I am ready to resin 3D print now, is that printer compettitive with newer resin printers or should I consider getting a new one? Thanks!
@viaJustin1910Ай бұрын
The accuracy for that machine according to the website is listed at 75um, some of the brand new machines have an accuracy of around 19um. That is a DLP machine so that gives you an advantage over LCD screens, however if your goal is to get the absolute most detailed prints possible there are other machines that can and will out perform your machine. All that said, if you have never used a resin printer before you are going to be blown away by what they can do even one that is a few years older like that one are amazing and can get details so fine it is hard to tell the difference with the naked eye. Good luck, happy printing.

I probably would of just printed it in tpu then it's basically just a rubber fish balls should just bounce off it. Maybe though they wanted it part of the challenge of getting the hole in one reason why it needed to be hard.
