I know I am a few years late to this. But props for using freecad. It is probably the most tooth pulling software for 3d modeling out there.

Great Logan!!! You will love you 3D printer...I am modifying my CR10 with a 750 watt 120v bed and WhamBam Flex plate to get the prints off easily...just about to finish it up and watch the bed heat up in 2 minutes instead of 8-10...Keep up the great work...

Great video Logan. You could combine fibre glass to give the unit more rigidity by giving it a surface of glass matt or carbon fibre...and resin. Best wishes Alex

Well done dude, been thinking about doing something like this myself. Look into flexure mounts, PID control if you're into precision tracking, and maybe some kind of temperature controller as flex from thermal expansion around your lens is going to be your greatest enemy. Keep up the awesome work dude!

A great little video. I’m just about to buy a 3D printer partly for the reasons you say. Even just masks would be pretty useful alone.
