Been thinking about getting a 3D printer for making small parts, but it seems like a new black hole of a hobby, timewise, and I'm not sure I can justify another!! xD

Just opened mine last night. Amazing machine. I'm coming from an Anycubic Megas S...not the I model. The 5s1 is leaps and bou ds better and just great. Quiet. Fast. Accurate. I noticed the dual fan ducts are now injection molded, they were printed before. So that's nice. The bed plate has a crazy hold on the material. I thought it was exaggerated at first by others, it isn't. Bought two new spring steel plates that are double sided.

Guys, I've been printing motorcycle carbon fibe parts fo over 5 yrs now. You will need to upgrade your printer and even when you do it will destroy your printer within a few months or weeks even. Be warned...it's a costly endeavor to print carbon fiber!

No worries, if you need any tips or help setting up you machine to print CF I would be happy to show you my set up... Anycubic Chiron with dual extruders, high flow all metal hotend with stainless .6mm nozzle and massive cooling fans to prevent heat creep and keep everything cool when printing at 300+ degrees. I also had to write custom firmware because stock machines have perameters set to prevent you from going over 265 ish degrees. There is lots of things to overcome like that and I'm not hating on your video... I just want to make sure your providing the entire picture in them. Good to see you having fun tho✌️.
