So I'm only like three or four lines into the video and I'm going to say I've never run across your videos before I But I wish I had however I'm glad I have found them now. I love the premise in your first few lines there how this channel is for tutorials live streams and just general help in 3D printing because it is not a plug and play kind of hobby/business. Every machine you get is different has to be handled different sliced different designed with different and that's just the digital side then getting into the physical side every printer levels differently has different software to level it has different procedures and that isn't even the tip of the iceberg That's like that's still a hundred miles away from hitting the iceberg itself so I'm glad to see people like you out here willing to take your time and share it with others in the community to help them get better and more proficient so personally I think you very much!!! And I look forward to seeing a lot more of your videos in the future

A paid for slicer has to have something really special these days as the free options are so good

Nice video, learned a lot...but shouldn't the infill # be .1 instead of 1 on the benchy?
@TheFirstLayer3 жыл бұрын
That is a good question, let me look into it.
@MAGA_Patriot20243 жыл бұрын
@@TheFirstLayer yeah, around 15:17 in, you got the error saying the value has to be between 0 and 1. Therefore 1 would be 100% infill unless I'm mistaken?

@@MAGA_Patriot2024 I am verifying that now. I will let you know when I have an answer.

@@TheFirstLayer no problem. Please don't think I'm rushing you....just thought I'd help by pointing out the spot in the vid where it happened. :)

@@TheFirstLayer What was the result of your verification? It has been about 3 years since you said you were going to verify it.

Hey Richard. I'm subscribing right after this. this is the first time I visit your videos. I am trying to find out where the axes motion controls are for v2.0 of Matter Control. The original version was easier and more convenient for me. Can you point me to them? By the way, when I first saw you, I thought as was looking at a very dear friend of mine, whom I have'nt seen for many years. Hope he is doing fine. Any way, thank you.

Can you use matter control on flashforge?
@TheFirstLayer3 жыл бұрын
Yes it has some Flashforge profiles. If your printer isn't listed you may have to build a fresh profile for it

Is there a difference in the printpicture when you print something with the same Values as in cura?
@TheFirstLayer3 жыл бұрын
Not that I have seen yet but I am just scatching the surface on this slicer. I still need to work with it to give you a better answer.
