With phone, u just need a flexible phone holder. With a camera (mine is a mirrorless), i mount it under a tripod, place the whole tripod on the table, adjust the frame, place a mat under the tripod, you’ll need rotate a frame 180° when edit. I try many, it work best for me. Hope it help. P/s: not sure if u understand what i mean, my English sus
