Yes, it's so important to continually check in with ourselves and pay attention to what story we're telling. When I started to become more aware of my inner talking, I realized that much of it consisted of limitations and why things didn't work out for me in the past. Instead, I'm now focused on constructing my desired reality in such vivid detail that it naturally consumes my attention and is much more appealing than the "old story!"

When you say that: when you tell a new story then you move to that reality. Would this mean that one could literally go to bed in one house, one reality and next day wake up in a completely new reality, new house? Because of the story one is telling themselves now?

Hey Tom, don't know if you will see this but expressing what i feel does wonders. Especially with this wonderfull comunity! I had a relation with my SP and a few weeks back she ended the relation to be free. At first i knew it whas right and i learned a lot about myself in the proces but now it seems i'm falling in love again with the new version of her. I meditated about this matter, live in the belief that she is my new girlfriend but the more i do so the more it seems i'm pushing her away. When i don't talk about my feelings with her she says i'm changed and push her away but when i do talk about them she pushes me away. Everything else in my life seems to go as i want it to go exept for the times it's about her. Any advice or insight on this matter? Big fan from Belgium btw. Love your teachings or the way you express nevil's teaching!!!
