3d spinning logo on photoshop (How to)

I was able to do it up till I think last version (22). Adobe announced they were phasing out the 3D workspace. The version after that was already showing signs of it fading away. Well last month I had to make a busy spinner for a program so I decided to see if I could make it work. Nope! since I didn't have the workspace I had to move it to check the lighting and depth adjustments. That made the mage not staying straight. And the Enter click to set points was a nice bonus. I did it a whole different way. I wish they would keep at least a simplified version in PS. I realize they're trying to implement it into yet another product because the 16 I have now isn't enough. If you still play with it you should put out a few move videos. You do a nice job of explaining it while remembering not everyone is comfortable in the environment yet. I was lucky to find one like you when I started and was a huge help. He even said the short cut keys as going along so I learned those without even realizing it.

Man I hate those DnB trans tunes cranked up while someone is shaking the pointer to show you what to guess on next. I slow them down and pause after each step and still didn't get it. Blue Lightning is awesome if anyone needs a nice instructor. Marty is sooo mellow that even when you want to throw something that a mouse pad will suffice lol. No more finding keyboard pieces in the office for months.

Make sure you click 3d meshes, and . Go to File/Project Settings and choose the time format

Yes it’s possible, I’ve done it before and should’ve made a video on that as well. When I’m at my pc later I’ll try to see if I can remember how to do it and advise.

@@mattyacks if I wanted to do it with another one, I'd have to do it all from scratch. If it would be possible to only replace the logo with another one at the end of the process

@@LippeOOC oh I see what you’re saying. I believe you’d have to start from scratch if you wanted to use a differnt image. BUT you could try saving two copies of the file one as GIF ( as you would), and one has a PSD file, this would allow you to go back and change the image, after you you change the image then you’d save it as a GIF. That’s all I could think of that could possibly work

See what the FPS is set to. You can speed or sloe it depending on what you choose. MP4 if not exported with correct settings will look fine in app but spin like a Tasmanian devil or stutter and skip after export. Matty is correct. Something this short is better off as gif.

@@zacharyortiz7423 Adobe is moving the 3D out of PS started dropping out with v.21 and each version after that lost more functionality. See if you have access to version 21 or earlier PS and it will be there. I have access to every version I've had since 16. through the CC cloud. But if you didn't go that route look around because I see them all the time.
