would it also work to screw the screws from the other side? i dont like having the pointed side of the screw showing on the outside, also isn't that a little dangerous?

I’m very happy with my purchase. I ordered 8 from the official Website to give out as Christmas gifts. I put one together last night and I really like it. It’s not difficult but rewarding cause it is clever, pretty, and it really makes a nice night light. However it did take nearly 3 weeks to get to me in the East Coast U.S. it came from China so it had to travel a good distance. I’m glad I ordered early. I rarely pay attention to the Ads here on KZbin but it caught my attention and I purchased the product and now I’m posting a review of it because I think it deserves a good review.

The light was too bright on ours. Blinds you. Don’t know why.

does it come with the glue and little screwdriver?

Does the light come on automatically at night? Does it work on a timer? Or working off of a light sensor?

It was finicky but rubbing my finger across the printed button did turn it on. I just finished assembing mine it but I assume that the light will stay on as long as it's plugged in. It's not automatic. You could always use a timer at the electric outlet.

While these are really pretty, they are a challenge to put together. No way a child could do it, the final step of securing the outside wrap around with those U clips is impossible, I gave up and stuck them though without the decorative tabs and glued them for good measure. Pretty product but very challenging to assemble. Don't believe me, notice how the tutorial doesn't show her completing the last step?

Honestly, I’m putting one together right now and it just takes someone with a lot of patients and an engineering degree

Do not buy these! They are difficult if not impossible to put together!
